A die in the context of integrated circuits is a small block of semiconducting material, on which a given functional circuit is fabricated. Typically, integrated circuits are produced in large batches on a single wafer of electronic-grade silicon (EGS) or other semiconductor (such as GaAs) through processes such as photolithography. The wafer is cut (“diced”) into many pieces, each containing one copy of the circuit. Each of these pieces is called a die.
There are three commonly used plural forms: dice, dies, and die.

A die is a specialized tool used in manufacturing industries to cut or shape material mostly using a press. Like molds, dies are generally customized to the item they are used to create. Products made with dies range from simple paper clips to complex pieces used in advanced technology.
Forming dies are typically made by tool and die makers and put into production after mounting into a press. The die is a metal block that is used for forming materials like sheet metal and plastic. For the vacuum forming of plastic sheet only a single form is used, typically to form transparent plastic containers (called blister packs) for merchandise. Vacuum forming is considered a simple molding thermoforming process but uses the same principles as die forming. For the forming of sheet metal, such as automobile body parts, two parts may be used: one, called the punch, performs the stretching, bending, and/or blanking operation, while another part, called the die block, securely clamps the workpiece and provides similar stretching, bending, and/or blanking operation. The workpiece may pass through several stages using different tools or operations to obtain the final form. In the case of an automotive component there will usually be a shearing operation after the main forming is done and then additional crimping or rolling operations to ensure that all sharp edges are hidden and to add rigidity to the panel.
Insight is an American religious-themed weekly anthology series that aired in syndication from October 1960 to 1983. Produced by Paulist Productions in Los Angeles, the series presented half-hour dramas illuminating the contemporary search for meaning, freedom, and love. Insight was an anthology series, using an eclectic set of story telling forms including comedy, melodrama, and fantasy to explore moral dilemmas.
The series was created by Roman Catholic priest Ellwood E. "Bud" Kieser, the founder of Paulist Productions. A member of the Paulist Fathers, an evangelistic Catholic order of priests, he worked in the entertainment community in Hollywood as a priest-producer and occasional host, using television as a vehicle of spiritual enrichment. Many of the episodes of the series were videotaped at CBS Television City and then Metromedia Square.
The anthology format and the religious nature of the program attracted a wide variety of actors (including Jeff Hunter, Ed Asner, Jack Albertson, Beau Bridges, Carol Burnett, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Patty Duke, Ann Jillian, Wesley Eure, Bob Hastings, Cicely Tyson, James Doohan, Ricky Kelman, Jack Klugman, Robert Lansing, Randolph Mantooth, Walter Matthau, Deborah Winters, Bob Newhart, Bill Bixby, John Ritter, Bill Mumy, Mark Hamill, Flip Wilson, Keenan Wynn, Marty Feldman, Michael Shea, and Martin Sheen), directors (such as Marc Daniels, Arthur Hiller, Norman Lloyd, Delbert Mann, Ted Post, Jay Sandrich, and Jack Shea), and writers (Rod Serling, John T. Dugan, Lan O'Kun, and Michael Crichton) to work on the series.

Edan released the first album, Primitive Plus, on Lewis Recordings in 2002. It was described by The A.V. Club as "one of the year's most promising debuts". He released the EP, Sprain Your Tapedeck, later that year.
His second album, Beauty and the Beat, was released in 2005. It features vocal contributions from Mr. Lif and Insight.
Edan released the 29-minute mixtape, Echo Party, in 2009.
Insight is an album by saxophonist/flautist Prince Lasha which was recorded in England in 1966 and originally released on the CBS label.
Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars with its review by Thom Jurek stating: "this is not an exploratory outside date, but a straight-ahead session of originals and standards, divided between uptempo numbers and ballads. ...For all its traditionalism, this is indeed a major date for Lasha and reveals how deeply ensconced he was in the bop and swing lineages".
All compositions by Prince Lasha except as indicated
Winter is the coldest season of the year in polar and temperate climates, between autumn and spring. Winter is caused by the axis of the Earth in that hemisphere being oriented away from the Sun. Different cultures define different dates as the start of winter, and some use a definition based on weather. When it is winter in the Northern Hemisphere, it is summer in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice versa. In many regions, winter is associated with snow and freezing temperatures. The moment of winter solstice is when the sun's elevation with respect to the North or South Pole is at its most negative value (that is, the sun is at its farthest below the horizon as measured from the pole), meaning this day will have the shortest day and the longest night. The earliest sunset and latest sunrise dates outside the polar regions differ from the date of the winter solstice, however, and these depend on latitude, due to the variation in the solar day throughout the year caused by the Earth's elliptical orbit (see earliest and latest sunrise and sunset).
Winter (born March 20, 1972 as Rafael Antonio Lozano Jr.) is a freelance software programmer and consultant. Winter was previously known by the name John Winter Smith, but reported having legally changed his name to Winter in 2006. He is best known for his goal to visit every Starbucks location in the world, visiting as many as 29 locations in one day.
Winter was born in Chicago, Illinois as "Rafael Antonio Lozano Jr." on March 20, 1972, with his family later moving to Houston, Texas. He later attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a double major in philosophy and computer science. Winter currently works as a freelance programmer.
In 1997 Winter began visiting various Starbucks locations, expressing the intent to visit every Starbucks location in the world. To minimize the amount of Starbucks locations, he eliminated any licensed stores to focus solely on those owned by the company. For each location to "count" he would drink "at least one four-ounce sample of caffeinated coffee from each store." He would also take a picture and post it on his website.
Kevin Potter of Potter USA explains how these antique industrial dies work. They are forming and piercing dies in a die shoe, used in a hydraulic press. These are dies from the Frank Morrow Company, a metal stamping business that was around for over 100 years in Rhode Island. They provided stamping for lamps at the beginning of their business. The dies eventually made large strips of metal used in wall coverings and pieces of art. Many artists were familiar with the Frank Morrow Company and ordered strips of formed metal for their work. The time has come to close your eyes
time has come to realize
time has come for saddling down
time has come in sleep to drown
From life
From your life
From life
Is this your life
From life
This is your life
From life
This was your life
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, if you should die,
die in winter, die in winter
The time has come to breathe no more
time has come to see god's shore
time has come to realize
time has come to pay the price
For life
For your life
For life
For your life
For life
This is your life
For life
This was your life
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, if you should die,
die in winter, die in winter
Come to me, you are the chosen
you will see, your eyes stay frozen
Black coffin waits for only a chance
to pick you up, oh what a romance
In Life
In your life
In your life
Once in your life
Once in your life
This is your life
This was your life
This was your life
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, die in winter
If you should die, if you should die,
die in winter, die in winter
You will live on in people's mind
though just for a minute of mankind
Nature, it dies in winter, too
