The Bishop was the nickname of a British self-propelled artillery vehicle based on the Valentine tank, armed with the 25 pounder gun-howitzer, which could fire an 87.6 mm (3.45 in) 11.5 kg (25 lb) HE shell or an armour-piercing shell. A result of a rushed attempt to create a self-propelled gun, the vehicle had numerous problems, was produced in limited numbers and was soon replaced by better designs.
The rapid manoeuvre warfare practiced in the North African Campaign led to a requirement for a self-propelled artillery vehicle armed with the 25-pounder gun-howitzer. In June 1941 the development was entrusted to the Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Company. A prototype was ready for trials by August and 100 were ordered by November 1941. The result was a vehicle with the formal title: "Ordnance QF 25-pdr on Carrier Valentine 25-pdr Mk 1".
The vehicle was based on the Valentine II hull, with the turret replaced by a fixed boxy superstructure with large rear doors. It was nicknamed the "Bishop" for its high mitre-like superstructure.
A Bishop in the Orthodox Christian Church is the highest spiritual office within the Universal Church. Unlike in some other Christian denominations, an Orthodox bishop cannot interfere with other dioceses that are not under his own jurisdiction.
A bishop is the successor to the Apostles in the service and government of the Church. The bishop thus serves εις τόπον και τύπον Χριστού (in place and as a type of Christ) in the Church. No bishop in Orthodoxy is considered infallible, even the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople who is considered to be 'First-among-equals'. None has any authority over or apart from his priests, deacons, and people or the other bishops. A bishop holds the responsibility of maintaining the unity of the Church throughout the world by ensuring the truth and unity of the faith and practice of their diocese. The bishop represent his particular diocese to the other churches or dioceses, and represents the Universal Church to his own particular priests, deacons, and people.
This article lists characters and actors in the Alien series of science fiction films. The series spans four films: Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), and Alien: Resurrection (1997). The only recurring actress in all four films is Sigourney Weaver, who portrays the series' central character Ellen Ripley.
The film series was subsequently crossed-over with the Predator films with the releases of Alien vs. Predator (2004) and its sequel Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007). Together the two Alien vs. Predator films serve as prequels to the Alien series. The only actor from the Alien films to appear in one of the prequels was Lance Henriksen, who had played the android Bishop in Aliens and a man claiming to be the android's creator in Alien 3. Henriksen returned for Alien vs. Predator, in which he played Charles Bishop Weyland.
Table shows the actors who portrayed the characters in the franchise.
Ash (Ian Holm) is the Nostromo's inscrutable science officer. He administers medical treatment, conducts biological research and is responsible for investigating any alien life forms the crew may encounter. It is at Ash's insistence that the crew investigates the mysterious signal emanating from LV-426. Ripley becomes suspicious of him when he breaks quarantine protocol by allowing Kane, Dallas, and Lambert to re-enter the Nostromo while the Alien facehugger is attached to Kane. Captain Dallas later informs Ripley that Ash had abruptly replaced the ship's previous science officer, whom Dallas had done five previous missions with, just as the Nostromo left Thedus for its return journey to Earth. Over Ripley's objections, Dallas entrusts Ash with all science-related decisions.

Plot: A crack-addicted prostitute and a nun get stuck on an elevator. One is going to, one is coming from, a meeting with a killer. In a seedy hotel, battered prostitute Leslie flees the scene of a crime only to get trapped on the elevator with young Sister Amelia. When no one responds to their cries for help, they reluctantly turn to each other. Leslie starts smoking crack and goes from standoffish, to giddy, to ferociously hostile at the drop of a hat. The unlucky sister learns more than she wants about the violent crime Leslie has just perpetrated. Tensions mount as Leslie pries into Sister Amelia's private affairs and they discover a shared secret that binds them together in a macabre and surreal plot involving a talking handbag and a Catholic bishop. It's a dark, hallucinatory ride with powerful performances and supernatural thrills that goes straight to the heart of a girl on her way to Hell.

Plot: VIRGIN AGAIN is the cinematic story of Kali, a woman whose life is torn apart by adultery, and yet sewn back together by love and forgiveness. Is there a God? Can a broken heart be mended? These are some of the questions going through Kali's mind as she discovers that David, her poor struggling artist husband, who she has supported financially for years, has fallen into adultery. He flagrantly flaunts his affair in front of her face in their home one afternoon, and she retaliates in anger by seeking her own affairs. In a motel room, in the very act of adultery, she gets caught by preachers who throw her at the feet of JESUS. He lovingly forgives her after challenging the self righteous ministers with the classic statement: 'The guy without sin in his life, let him throw the first rock at her.' Vultures paparazzi camped in front of her house, jab cameras in her face and ask sordid questions about her affair. The worst is yet to come as her husband leaves her, she loses her job, and almost loses her mind before she spills out her guts-straight no chaser- in a prayer to God by a stream in the woods. Heaven hears her prayer, and a miracle begins to happen.

Plot: In 1412, a young girl called Jeanne is born in Domrémy, France. The times are hard: The Hunderd Years war with England has been going on since 1337, English knights and soldiers roam the country. Jeanne develops into a very religious young woman, she confesses several times a day. At the age of 13, she has her first vision and finds a sword. When coming home with it, she finds the English leveling her home town. Years after that, in 1428, she knows her mission is to be ridding France of the English and so sets out to meet Charles, the Dauphin. In his desperate military situation, he welcomes all help and gives the maiden a chance to prove her divine mission. After the successful liberation of Orléans and Reims, the Dauphin can be crowned traditionally in the cathedral of Reims - and does not need her anymore, since his wishes are satisfied. Jeanne d'Arc gets set up in his trap and is imprisoned by the Burgundians. In a trial against her under English law, she can't be forced to tell about her divine visions she has had continuously since childhood. Being condemned of witchcraft and being considered as relapsed heretic, she is sentenced to death. Jeanne d'Arc is burnt alive in the marketplace of Rouen on May 30th, 1431, at only 19 years of age.

U know u ghetto (don't be ashamed)
U ghetto
U ghetto (don't be ashamed)
U ghetto
U know u ghetto
[Bishop]
U know u ghetto when you got rats and roaches
With the fan in the window, front door wide open
U know u ghetto when u say "Ain't & Finna"
Change the channel with some pliers, got a hanger for a antenna
U know u ghetto eating chicken everyday
With color weave in your hair and you tricking for a pay
Gold teeth in your mouth
Out talking loud
And the car that you drive cost more than your house
U know u ghetto when your job is illegal
Live in the projects with furniture like rich people
U know u ghetto when you cook with lard
Only credit that you got is your food stamp card
U know u ghetto when you own section 8
Hair do's everyday, but you pay your bills late
Understand this song, get your jam on
And yo grandma whip you with whatever she get her hands on
[chorus]
[lil kids (Bishop)]
U know u ghetto (look at the way you walk)
U ghetto (c'mon, listen to how you talk)
U ghetto (look at the clothes you wear)
U ghetto (haa, look at that style of hair)
U know u ghetto
[Bishop]
U know u ghetto picking boogers and you flick 'em
And eat with your hands stead of washing 'em, you lick 'em
You don't know your daddy
And your hair nappy
People catch the Holy Ghost in church getting happy
U know u ghetto call the crib your house
Be at funerals screaming, fighting, then fall out
U know u ghetto selling clothes that you stole
And when you go out it's like a fashion show
U know u ghetto with a name like Shaniqua
Pookie, Red, and Peanut putting codes in your beeper
When you hear stuff, helicopter, city bus
Siren, trains, shots, straight out of the ice cream truck
[chorus]
[Bishop]
U know u ghetto only shop when there's a sale
Late everywhere you go with an excuse to tell
U know u ghetto when you pee outside
Catch bronchitis, get full and sleep tight
U know u ghetto when y'all stealing cable
Cussing and DJin on underground radio
Saying Yo' Mama jokes
Fighting on talk shows
Mattress against the wall
Ain't no frame, it's on the floor
U know u ghetto with dreads, plaits, and braids
Weave, colorful nails, afros, wraps, and waves
U ghetto, wont pay back money that you borrow
And wearing an outfit you gon' return tomorrow
U know u ghetto betting on a number
Using words like "Uhh-huh", "Naw", and "Uhh-uhh"
Stead of "Mom" you say "Ma", stead of "Dad" you say "Da"
You see nickel stores, bar-b-cue stands, and laundromats
[chorus]
[Bishop]
U know u ghetto punching ain't playing house right
Your kids bare foot playing outside
Eat food of the ground, say "God, bless the church"
Let your kids drink beer talking bout "It gives 'em worms"

Ran out of water supplies from people next door
U know u ghetto heat the house with the oven
And anybody famous from the hood your cousin
U know u ghetto cussing out your teacer
And when something happen your mama screaming "Lord Jesus!"

Mom's at the gas station begging for some change now
