The new ANSI Government Relations & Public Policy Monthly Update tracks current legislative and regulatory initiatives of significant relevance to the standardization community, researched and compiled by Mary Saunders, ANSI vice president, government relations. The newsletter features highlights of federal and Congressional activities in priority areas for ANSI's constituents and standardization stakeholders.

The 2020 edition of the United States Standards Strategy (USSS), approved by the ANSI Board of Directors in December 2020, is now available for free download. The review and update process incorporated the input of a diverse group of stakeholders committed to maintaining the USSS in a way that is open, balanced, and transparent, reflective of the U.S. standardization community.

ANSI and the greater standardization community are stepping up with guidance, resources, and initiatives to support public health, safety, and infrastructure during the COVID-19 outbreak. As needs continue to emerge and standards-based solutions are identified, ANSI is monitoring and sharing relevant news highlighting these efforts via a frequently updated collection of relevant announcements and resources.

ANSI has a new website! With major improvements like clearer navigation, a modernized, mobile-responsive design, and new features and access to frequently used information and actions, the site was redeveloped to meet the needs of you, our community.
