Mother Love is a British television drama that first aired in 1989. It was adapted by Andrew Davies from Domini Taylor's (Roger Longrigg's) novel concerning a mother's obsessive love for her son, vengeful hatred of his father, her ex-husband, and the effect on her daughter-in-law and grandchildren. It starred Diana Rigg, David McCallum, James Wilby, and Fiona Gillies, and was directed by Simon Langton.
Christopher "Kit" Vesey (James Wilby) and Angela Vesey (Fiona Gillies), a British yuppie couple, enjoy a seemingly idyllic life. Yet there is one troubling factor in their lives - Kit's mother Helena (Diana Rigg), an eccentric and often difficult woman consumed by anger with Kit's father (David McCallum), a famed concert musician with whom she believes Kit has no contact.
Her oddness is confirmed in a series of incidents involving her ex-husband and his second wife, Ruth (Isla Blair), an artist. Flashbacks throughout the series reveal bits of Helena's troubled past. Little by little, the young couple's life begins to fall apart as Helena begins to act out her feelings of intense jealousy and desire for revenge, implicating a dear old friend and leading to murder.
Mother Love Bone was an American rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. The band was active from 1988 to 1990. Frontman Andrew Wood's personality and compositions helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 1980s/early 1990s Seattle music scene. Wood died only days before the scheduled release of the band's debut album, Apple, thus ending the group's hopes of success. The album was finally released a few months later.
Mother Love Bone was established in 1988 by ex-Green River members Jeff Ament, Bruce Fairweather and Stone Gossard, ex-Malfunkshun frontman Andrew Wood and ex-Ten Minute Warning and Skin Yard drummer Greg Gilmore. Initially, the group was formed in 1987 out of the cover band Lords of the Wasteland which featured Wood, Gossard, Ament and Malfunkshun drummer Regan Hagar. By early 1988 the band had added Fairweather, replaced Hagar with drummer Greg Gilmore and changed its name to Mother Love Bone.
This new line-up quickly set about recording and playing area shows and by late 1988 had become one of Seattle's more promising bands. Wood's exuberant on-stage personality, outlandish clothes and dreamy lyrics helped bring attention to the band. In the 1996 grunge documentary, Hype!, Seattle engineer Jack Endino called Wood "the only stand-up comedian frontman in Seattle," a reference to Wood's playful style of interacting with Mother Love Bone fans.
Mother Love Bone (also known as Stardog Champion) is a compilation album by the American rock band Mother Love Bone. It was released on September 22, 1992, through Stardog/Mercury Records.
The album contains material from the EP Shine (1989) and the album Apple (1990). It was released by Polygram subsidiary Stardog/Mercury Records after the band dissolved due to the death of vocalist Andrew Wood. The album charted at number 77 on the Billboard 200 album chart in 1992. Ira Robbins of Entertainment Weekly said, "Mother Love Bone—the band's total output—suggests a young, hungry Aerosmith hooked on Led Zeppelin."

"Mother Love" is a song by Queen, from the album Made in Heaven, released in 1995 after Freddie Mercury's death in 1991. It was written by Brian May and Mercury. The song features the last ever vocals sung by Mercury in May 1991, six months before his death.
"Mother Love" was the final song co-written by Mercury and May, and was also Mercury's last ever vocal performance. Mercury's vocals were recorded between 13-16 May 1991 after the Innuendo sessions.
On his website, May discussed the writing process he and Mercury had (writing both separately and together, and conscious of the nature of the song and the lyrics). Upon reaching the final verse, Freddie told May that he had to go and "have a rest", but that he would return later and finish it. After that, Freddie never made it back to the studio, and May sang the last verse on the track.
At the end of the song it features a sample from a live sing along session recorded at Queen's famous 1986 concert at Wembley Stadium, and a sample from the intro of the studio version of "One Vision" and "Tie Your Mother Down".
Jumping Jahova
Satchmo
Blow me
Green eyed lady, oh yeah
Doo doo doo doo
Moonlit lady
Is slicker than a weasel
Flaming guitar boy
A push
Red light means go
A Jumpin Jahova, boy
?????? outside your door
He's showing you the bottle
One-fifty-one, shake it
So I was itching at the end of the bar
As she was looking at my bass guitar
I don't even recall her name hahaha
All the bitches are just the same
And then she said
And next thing I knew I was in her bed, child
Well yeah child
And crazy things were goin on inside my head, yeah
Sure 'nough
And I don't even recall your claim to fame
You can straddle my brass, baby yeah
Red light means go
And know you've been mine, sure 'nough
?????? and sure 'nough you're mine
Warm and fine ??????
A Jumping Jahova
It's forever and ever
Whoa yeah

A snake eyed floozey I said I just I gotta have you
Oh my Jumpin Jahova

Are we sure that your over?
She boogie she boogie
And the next thing I knew I was on the ground yeah
Play guitar shake
With dead bones in my sail
And I turned to her and I said
All I really want from you is your smile
Help me
And maybe I could love you
A just a little while yeah yeah yeah
I don't even recall your claim to fame
Straddle my brass, baby yeah
And I don't even recall your claim to fame

Witness me I gotta gotta gotta gotta have
It's for sure that your over
Won't you give it to me
