THE LETTERMEN - Put Your Head On My Shoulder LP w A Song For Young Love LP w Look At Love LP w Love Book LP w Kind Of Country LP w Hurt So Bad LP w Goin' Out Of My Head LP

Now this is a band I used to see in the thrift stores with beat up vinyl as they were quite popular back in the day.  This fortunately is not the case here as I found them all at Goodwill in fairly minty condition so this will be a treat for the right ears since they are mainly a cover band that always did the latest cool tunes on each record and thus serves as an excellent grouping of hit songs whether they had a hit with the song or not.  Adding this to my first cover shot shown.  Will have to find Angstytimelord's suggestion of the live album.  Thanks for the tip Angsty per usual.  Cheers!

MIKEY KATZ AHO - MISH-MOSH LP

I posted this on a facebook bad vinyl covers group and got some funny comments about his scraggly legs.  This post begins a run of comedy found at Goodwill and I have more that is more modern that I will post later.  Old S.D. Joe got me on this kick with his repost request at the end of this string.

MYRON COHEN At The Royal Box American of New York - Everybody Gotta Be Someplace LP

My uncle the old WCCO radio morning D.J. in the 50's and 60's regularly went to New York to hang with his buddies Henny Youngman, Al Jolson and right here, Myron Cohen.  Before he died when I was visiting him in the Veteran's home, we tried to sell his old joke books on Ebay with many by Myron, but the reserve price was too high and no one saw the value in them that he did.  So it was nice to find this at Goodwill.                                 https://gofile.io/d/OpZlwP

Paul MacNeil - If It Rains LP 74

Well, I had just posted this last week but didn't realize I had posted it earlier in March and with a much better sound that I had cleaned up.  The file last week you can hear much more static at the beginning but I think I took out the pops where I could.  So anyway this sounds better so please replace the last rip and I will thank EW again for sending this in once or twice??

Keith Barbour - Echo Park LP 69

Another absolute gem submitted by EW and all I had to do was keep the song titles in our DU format.

RATSIA - st LP 1979

REPOST Request:  This is the only one that Mark Underground had posted that I could find for now.  I will have to search some more for the other two but that was early days of the blog and I didn't get everything when I joined later on.  This album I listened to last night and thoroughly enjoyed.

THE DEL VIKINGS - 1956 Audition Tapes CD 93

I'm itching to hear this one but as you know I can't hear the CD's while they are ripping to digital.

THE CARS - GREATEST HITS CD 85

Since we have featured some band members here, I had to pick this up at Goodwill. Their music swept thru my junior high school but my sister had the record already and I was listening to punk instead back then, as I had taken my vow of non-conformity to the chagrin of my classmates who all loved this band.

VA - Happy Anniversary Charlie Brown CD 89

Charles M. Shulz was a fond purveyor of the jazz music of the time and so many of these bands are from that genre to pay tribute:  David Benoit, B.B. King, Dave Grusin, Chick Corea, Joe Williams, Gerry Mulligan, Kenny G (ugh!), Lee Ritenour, Patti Austin, Amani A.W. Murray and Dave Brubeck.

WPCH FM 95 I Believe In Atlanta LP 86

As I have said in the past per the old rap tune, "I'm the first MF on the block for the cheese and the last MF to leave."  Yeah, this may be better for trade shows as its kind of catchy.

WEIRD AL YANKOVIC - OFF THE DEEP END CD 92

PLEASE SEARCH ABOVE FOR MORE and ADD ON:  Found another Al disk!!!  There were two more but when I tried to rip them they said "Secret Files" so I opened that with explorer and found read me's and MOV files at one each.  However was not able to go any further.  Sorry, I should have gotten better instructions per the comment non the other post.        https://gofile.io/d/bRiWvb

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK - Greatest Hits CD 08

Well, I couldn't just ignore it when I saw this at Goodwill with Donnie and his kid brothers.   If you used to watch MTV or VHS like I did, you will know these hit songs.     https://gofile.io/d/cu6sLx

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band - NINE TONIGHT LIVE CD 81

PLEASE SEARCH ABOVE FOR MORE and ADD ON:  Well I'm sorry but MR. AOR here has infected my space waaaaaay to much whereas I won't collect his studio stuff but this sweet little live postcard nicely has his brick hit train organized OUTSIDE my mind so I can keep tabs on it.  Also had posted his album side interview with music from a radio show posted a few years back.

DOUG KERSHAW - HOT DIGGIDY DOUG CD 89

PLEASE SEARCH ABOVE FOR MORE and ADD ON:  Found this at Goodwill (AUTOGRAPHED by this well known Cajun musician!!) and didn't realize I had already posted his 1977 album.  Here is what I wrote there:  Doug Kershaw wrote the Cajun standard, "Louisiana Man" and was Johnny Carson's debut featured musician while playing a violin part on Arlo Guthrie's song, "Alice's Restaurant".   https://gofile.io/d/AsGg0Q

ARTHUR BROWN - THE CRAZY WORLD OF LP w DANCE LP 75 w ARTHUR BROWN'S KINGDOM COME - The Lost Ears 2LP 76

REPOST and ADD ON:  The double album from 1976 was added after a suggestion from my vinyl group at Facebook.  I believe it is a different band from the other two albums shown from before.
