The Cramps - Booze Party

this is one ive not been able to find too much info on.i know the bootleg was initially a double-vinyl issue but apart from that not much else.all i know that its another excellent sound quality live c.d from the mondo-de-muebles archives that finds the cramps playing a blistering set of their demented take on all things trash and psychobilly.trashabilly if you like.anyway play this very loud, listen,do a silly dance and most of all enjoy, and leave a comment.thanks!
p.s As ive been listening to this it occurred to me that Nick Knox died just over a year ago on June 15th.he really was the coolest drummer in rock n roll. R.I.P Nick

The Cramps - Live 1990

evening all.many years ago i bought this bootleg from a stall in camden market.it had this show on one side and one from the ramones recorded in sheffield in 87.it was part of the bbc 'in concert' series and had spoken intros about the band giving a brief history of each one etc and then there was several songs from each band recorded at each venue.anyway after many years of hunting i finally have the cramps part of this bootleg.i got it from camden dave (cheers dave!) recently and it is one of the best cramps boots ive heard.its only 8 songs long but each ones a cracker.hearing this again after so many years brings lots of great memories flooding back.so if like me you remember hearing this on one of those camden cassette bootlegs with the photocopied onto yellow paper cover, then this ones for you.it is a really great set that deserves to be played loud.so please listen, enjoy and if you have a moment leave a comment.thanks!

The Guana Batz - Held Down...At Last

continuing the psychobilly theme we have this offering from the guana batz originally released in 1985 where it reached no.1 in the independent charts.this album brilliantly captures the psychobilly legends that were the guana batz in their prime.the standout track for me here is of course 'king rat'.anyway please listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Meteors - In Heaven

this is usually credited as being the album that kicked off the psychobilly revolution.its the debut album from the meteors and was released back in 1981.its 15 tracks of pure psychobilly.all i can really say about this album is play it loud, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Guana Batz - Peel Sessions

good morning listeners.the first post today is the peel sessions recorded by 'the guana batz' one of the original psychobilly bands who formed in 1982.the band are still together and still touring occasionally so if you see a gig advertised go and see them.this is a great cd and features a great version of 'brand new cadillac' and 'zombie walk'.if this cd doesnt get you doing the famous psychobilly 'chicken' dance then there may be no hope for you!so i advise you to play this loud, try to dance, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Lux Interior - R.I.P

well i thought i should post a cramps boot today in a sort of tribute to the late great Lux Interior the legendary frontman from the kings of psychobilly.he died recently from heart problems and the world of music is a sadder place today with his death.not much to say about this short and blistering set recorded in seattle in '81(?).listen to this and remember all those great nights at venues like the astoria in london and remember this excellent live performer.Lux you will be sorely missed.
