Marley suffers from bulimia in Season 4, set off by having an obese parent and another girl secretly taking in her costumes so she thought she was gaining weight. She throws up on-screen, carries laxatives in her purse, and finally passes out while performing in Thanksgiving.

Someone attempts suicide in Season 3 episode On My Way. It is fairly explicit in showing the character hang themselves. The character survives the attempt.

Most scenes are shot with handheld video cameras and are thus very shaky. The cameras also frequently spin and pan very quickly to different characters.

1. A boy is cornered by his bully and forcefully kissed, against his will. Later, the bully threatens to kill him if he tells someone. The bully keeps following him until the boy eventually changes schools. 2. A girl says someone snuck into her tent during a camp and rape/assault is implied. 3. A boy admits he was molested by his babysitter when he was young and people make fun of him for it. A classmate later confides in him that she was molested too. The last two situations are never referenced again, the first is a big plot point in that season and is referenced in later seasons.

Many times characters make out and the scenes fade to black after the characters agree to have sex. There are many scenes of characters together in bed after having sex. On multiple occasions characters become close to completion (or actually reach completion, on one occasion) from fully clothed sexual activities. Almost every character talks about desiring sex at some point in the show.

Countless people on countless occasions are insulted based on/in relation to their appearances, ethnicities, sexualities, religions, mental health, emotional states, voices, social statuses, economic statuses, intelligence, physical disabilities, and much more. Sue Sylvester (a major character) in particular is a horrible person (relentlessly harassing marginalized and mentally ill people in ways tailored to their personal insecurities and traumas, admitting to killing homeless people for fun, on countless occasions verbally using past bullying she received for having a sister with down syndrome as an excuse for everything she does, etc.), yet frequently has mini redemption arcs where people temporarily believe she's a good person.

Some characters repeatedly make fat jokes about other characters. An example is Santana making fat jokes about Finn.

In addition to averyanderson2018's comment, a woman with OCD is often made fun of by a major character, and some of her cleaning habits are framed as being humourous. There are also frequent mentions of the bullying a woman (and her able-bodied and mentally healthy sister by extension) suffered throughout her life due to having down syndrome. Her sister also frequently cites this past bullying as the reason she is a horrible person to everyone (but especially to already bullied teenagers).

Huge plot point of S2 is Kurt’s bullying from Karofsky. Slurs are used a lot, even outside the context of Kurt being bullied.

Two Jewish characters are bullied, though not because they are Jewish. There is no mention of their heritages, or of Judaism. There is also a plotline around a Jewish teenage girl wanting to get plastic surgery to make her nose smaller, but doesn't go through with it.
