Automattic is an office-less, globally distributed company, and P2 is our lifeblood. We built it to give everyone a place to see all of their projects and files, collaborate transparently, and to do it all without constant distractions.
P2 organizes all your files, projects, and conversations on one screen, so your team can collaborate from anywhere. It’s perfect for remote teams, digital nomads, extended families — anyone who doesn’t like email or meetings (i.e., everyone).
P2ing is way more than posting status updates. When you’re P2ing, you can:

A paid version of P2 is in development. Current P2s will always be free to use.
FAQs
How many P2s can I create?
As many as you want. Each P2 comes with 3GB of storage space for images and files.
Can I import content from an existing site?
WordPress.com offers automatic importing from these sources. We will be adding more.
Can I use a custom domain?
Not right now, but it’s on our radar.
Can I self-host my P2?
Not at the moment, but we plan to offer this option in the future.
Will ads appear on my P2?
No, P2 is a completely ad-free experience.
Who owns the data we store on our P2?
You do. P2 doesn’t own your data, nor do we (or will we ever) sell it to others to use for advertising.
