Diffidati posted this video of PAOK Salonica vs Olympiakos. Which is indeed not bad. It is however nothing compared to the welcoming given to Aris Salonica and Boca Juniors a couple of months ago for a *friendly* match.

*An Argentine Judge Flips Out
Judges, cops, soldiers, bureaucrats…nobody likes them, and here is another example of why.
Briefly the background: Her car was towed. I will of course not translate this entirely, but for those whose Spanish is poor, some highlights….
-“I dont have to pay anything eh!“
-“Come here, Im the one in charge here!“
-“Im a judge…bla bla…I dont have to pay, just like Ive never in my life had to pay.“
-Flipping out because nobody will escort her to her car.
-“I give the orders here, idiot“
-“I should slap you“
-“You better never come into my jurisdiction, because Ill put you in jail for 8 months.“
-“All dark haired girls here, not even one blonde!“
-“Im the lawyer here!“
This incident has drawn lots of attention in Argentina. Confronted a few days later by journalists, it is clear that she has been taking LOTS of pills to deal with the „special attention.“
*Antifa Munich: Last week we were on the subject of which movement has the greater capacity for embarrasing itself. The ensuing discussion prompted somebody to remind me of an old classic of „antifa“ embarassment. Enjoy….
Lets be honest…we all get wasted and do stupid shit. The difference, and it is no small difference, is that rarely do we choose to a. film the stupidity, b. put it on the web for the world to see, and c. most of us dont have such sexist crap in our playlists.
*Damned Diffidati has spilled the secret, though we were patiently waiting to present the news together with the accompanying poster and thus mark the beginning of the great on/offline propaganda attack. But whatever…

*Racing lost (and Atlanta as well), but that is not particularly surprising (so far 2 defeats, 4 draws this season). Off the field, again a clear victory though…
I know its wrong, and am fully aware that there is absolutely no rational explanation or justification. Yet I cant help myself. I *hate* Independiente. I hate everything about the club, I still hate its no longer existing pathetic stadium, I hate seeing them play, I hate everything about the club. But most of all, I hate its fans. Every time we play them I find myself standing there, a clearly visible frown of distaste on my face, staring at these people as if they were aliens from another planet, or inhabitants of some bizarro universe where good is bad, up is down, and so forth.
Its just so unfathomable to me, that there are people who consider Racing the worst of the worst. People who truly believe Independiente is a better club, and who dont grasp that what makes a club great is its people. That titles and trophys are won by mercenaries, and represent nothing more than better commercial management and some good buying decisions. And as far as people go, people who are always there, who have been to second division and back, who were told Racing had „ceased to exist,“ who paralyzed cities and congresses to save their club, and who despite setback after setback, misery, bankruptcy, embarassment, and betrayal always end up showing where the passion and the party are….there is nothing on this earth like Racing Club de Avellaneda.
We all have our „ticks,“ and this is my one, but still…Independiente fans belong in the zoo. Where little children can gaze at them with awe and fright, while throwing sugar at them in a vain attempt to rid the animal of its „amargura.“ (sourness).
Fortunately this insanity is limited in me to the abstract level…i.e I can still speak to Independiente fans as individuals. Although the awkward silences always end with me looking at them, eyes squinted and head slightly tilted saying „no really, but really, what *is* wrong with you?“
On Sunday, it is once again time for Racing -Independiente. 5.500 „fans“ of Independiente will be at Racing stadium, and through their „cold chestedness“ (you know, no heart…no passion) bring the general temperature a few degrees down.
I, like every Racing fan, have always given much and expected somewhere between little and nothing in return. Twice a year I actually expect and truly want a victory. Please Racing….do us this one small favor, and then we can go back to normality again for the rest of the season.
Some videos…
15.000 rolls of paper to welcome the team against Independiente in 1997. A day Ill never forget, especially because tons of paper plus lots of flares: is a really bad idea.
No more, no time….
„Racing, perdona el color de mi sangre“
„Solo Quien Comparte mi Pasion, Entiende Mi Locura“

Via Libcom. Background information regarding the recent arrests can be found here.
The Socialist Party (Pasok) Headquarters in Athens were evacuated when they came under sustained attack by anarchists early on Friday evening. The attack is believed to mark the first reaction to the arrest of the 4 youngsters accused of urban guerrilla activities.
On the evening of Friday 25 of September and as the four youngsters arrested earlier this week now stand accused under the notorious anti-terrorist law which renders any petty crime punishable by 10 years imprisonment, the new and shiny Headquarters of PaSoK, the Socialist Party of Greece, which is preparing itself to head the country’s government next week, came under attack by anarchists, who leaving the radical enclave of Exarcheia managed to break through the permanent riot police lines surrounding the area and with recourse to extended use of molotov cocktails wage their attack against one of the most guarded buildings in the country.
During the attack a TV van was consumed in flames with the fire spreading rapidly and putting the very building at. Authorities moved to evacuate PaSoK’s headquarters from its emergency exits to back streets while battles still ranged on the central street of Hippocratus. No arrests were made and the attackers disappeared behind flaming barricades.
The attack is believed to be the first act of reaction or solidarity to the arrest of the 4 young persons who were arrested after anti-terrorist police stormed two apartments in relation to the bombing of PaSoK’s Economic shadow-minister apartment. All 4 refuse to cooperate with the police not even giving their fingerprints. Police authorities claim they are en route of issuing a warrant for the arrest of 6 more people, with the progressive press already ringing the alarm of an anti-anarchist pogrom on the eve of the October 4th elections. The 4 will be presenting their case to the 32nd State Inquisitor on Tuesday morning.
Indeed, a lot more!
