Perry & Kingsley astounded listeners with The In Sound from Way Out, a collection of Moog music that introduced listeners to the possibilities of that instrument. Decades later, that record still has the power to impress. This record by one-half of that duo is more representative of the albums that followed in their wake. There's a handful of Beatles covers, the original version of "Popcorn" (technically titled "Pop Corn" here), and a few other well-polished and expected chestnuts. For those who have got the taste for this stuff, this is something they'll dig. For those who are just not sure, buy The In Sound from Way Out.

Gershon Kingsley occupies several unique niches within the history of popular and classical music -- and the sheer breadth of his work makes him something of a singular figure in music altogether. As a composer and instrumentalist, he is a central figure in the field of "space age pop" and new age music, but as a serious classical musician, Kingsley -- along with his younger American contemporary Walter Carlos -- was responsible for introducing the Moog synthesizer and other electronic keyboard instruments...
