Be it his sleuth of lo-fi black metal demo’s or his strictly dark ambient work in Silhouette In Splinters, Wrest has poured forth terrifying soundscapes that have always effectively reflected a strong sense of sincerity. The wait is over my friends. The video debut of Elan, the first single off of the upcoming Nightwish album Endless Forms Most Beautiful, has just been released. It’s the highly anticipated debut of, the one and only, Floor Jansen (After Forever, ReVamp). Floor stepped in on the last tour cycle for Nightwish, taking over the vocal reigns from Anette Olzon. Floor’s performance was met with both fan and critical acclaim, and needless to say…the rest is history.
Endless Forms Most Beautiful will be released on March 27 (EU), March 30th (UK) and March 31st for the rest of the world.
