    These figures are disturbing on so many levels. And the situation will get worse as the full effects of note acceptors on poker machines hits - as the experts predicted. For the to boast about the figures should make us all sick to the stomach!

    First & foremost, the paramount concern in all these situations must always be the safety and well-being of the victim and their family. If that involves an alleged perpetrator being ordered by a court to wear a GPS bracelet, so be it.

    I’m looking forward to collaborating with these amazing people as we work towards ‘normalising’ & destigmatising all things related to periods & uterine health and, something close to my heart - ending period poverty in SA! It’s about bloody time – and we have so much to do. ❤️

    Really grateful 4 the opportunity to be part of the inaugural Period Summit in Adelaide this wk. Who knew there was so much more to learn about periods? How did I get this far in life and NOT know some of this stuff - I thought I knew it all! Boy, was I wrong….

    It’s ok, we’ve got this - says nobody but the powers that be!

    There are currently 36 people in ED waiting for a mental health inpatient bed. Of these, 29 have been waiting for more than 8 hours!
