I made a simple dog hammock out of Maker Pipe connectors and inexpensive conduit…my dog hated it, but maybe other dogs might like it better by ethan_carter84 in DIY

Sorry for the confusion...to hopefully clarify, it's a "weld dog" project/video title that's put between the two words "no" and "hammock"...hope that helps you understand

I definitely know what you mean about the vertical pass through and I had the same concern. I think it was fine for this one, but I could definitely see it being a potential weak spot in a design for anything meant to carry a heavy load! I've also used the T-Connectors strategically in the past to get around using the 90 degree connectors and that's also an option in some cases.

That's a really great suggestion - he has a couple favorite blankets and pillows, so I'll try putting one on to see if that makes him more comfortable with it. Thanks!

Yeah I think you're probably right - thinking back it took him a little while to get used to an actual dog bed vs. his crate, so might just need some time to get used to it. Thanks for the feedback!

That is a really good point and I bet you're absolutely right about the bouncy feeling being a little scary for them. Yeah and now that you mention it, it took us a while to get him to use his dog bed instead of going into his crate...but now he loves it. I might try increasing the tension of the hammock like you said to see if that makes a difference! Thanks for the thoughts and ideas!

Thank you so much! I've used the Maker Pipe connectors for a few projects now and I've found them to be stronger than I initially expected too. I've never used them for a desk though, but I have seen a lot of other people make desks out of them.

I thought I’d try to make a “Pull Tab” wallet out of some left-over pieces of leather and I made a short video of how I did it by ethan_carter84 in DIY

Hahaha I just looked up what SN and HDH stands for and I think it's hilarious that even three months after I posted this you still feel the need to be a troll...congrats, you're awesome!
