Yup. I bought a Vega 56 a year or two back because my r9 390 fried itself. I'm stuck on a year+ old driver because anything newer either has significant down clocking issues or will lose display access and crash the system after a random amount of time in game. It's infuriating and I am looking forward to jumping ship.

The 6800 in particular seems overpriced, its $80 more than the 3070 it competes with. Yes, I’m aware it has double the ram, but why should I give a shit? It appears to be of no significant benefit to me performance wise.
The two higher models appear to be of a good value compared to the 3080/3090, particularly the 6900, but I’ll have to see pretty in depth comparisons of the 6800 to convince me the extra $80 is worth it.
Particularly with the fuck Canada tax.
why do you think the 3070 == 6800? it clearly shows in the graph provided that it should have greater performance in non-rtx gaming. i think in another comment said around 18* faster than a 2080ti which is literally the 3070. So I dont understand why you are shitting on the 6800 when they are not equal in performance whatsoever, the 6800 will probably go up against the rumored 3700 ti nvidia is releasing soon.
