Mounting 40 lb oled tv

I’m trying to research how to mount a 40 lb oled tv ( 55” lg CX).

My situation is a bit unique because it will be above a fireplace (only one stud), and I need the mount to extend at least 10 inches because that area is kind of like a built in shelf.

The single stud is almost center , just off by about 1-2 inches.

I have a lot of questions since I’m not really a handyman. Do you recommend any single stud mounts (will a single stud be enough or should I get a normal mount and bolt through drywall)?

How difficult is this? I saw some YouTube videos and it doesn’t look too bad, but I really don’t want my tv to ever fall. I also don’t want to pay $200 for an installation though haha.

Any other tips?

Thanks!
