Benvegnüu readers,
This is our monthly discussion of the literature of the world! Every Wednesday, we'll post a new country or culture for you to recommend literature from, with the caveat that it must have been written by someone from that there (i.e. Shogun by James Clavell is a great book but wouldn't be included in Japanese literature).
Today is Saint Devota's Feast Day, the patron saint of Monaco, and to celebrate we're discussing Monacan literature! Please use this thread to discuss your favorite Monacan literature and authors.
If you'd like to read our previous discussions of the literature of the world please visit the literature of the world section of our wiki.
Merçi and enjoy!
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Monaco, the setting for many books written by non-Monégasque authors, has many books written by Monégasque authors. The one name I've seen come up consistently is Louis Notari who wrote several novels though I don't think any of them have been translated into English. They do appear to be have French translations though so if you speak French that would be an option.
