THE CHAMBERS BROTHERS - THE TIME HAS COME LP w A NEW TIME....A NEW DAY LP w Greatest Hits 2LP w New Generation LP 71 w Unbonded LP 73

REPOST and ADD ON:  Added the first two but forgot the later one 'Right Moves'.  At any rate, thanks for the request for the 71 album  as it is very good and also the request for 'The Weight' from the 74 album.  I found a double record of earlier hits while getting those ones and it really is excellent like the others....WOW.   Such a great band!  Also cool version of 'Good Vibrations'.

COWS - Taint Pluribus Taint Unum LP 87 w Chow 7 88 w Slap Back 7 90 w Cunning Stunts LP 91 w Plowed LP 92 w Cow Island 7 94 w Porn 4 7 96 w The Missing Letter Is You 10" 97 w Sorry In Pig Minor LP 98

Well, I had a request and so all of this is from other blogs.  You can get more jackets at Discogs.  Missing quite a few.  I used to just go see this band quite a bit as they were fun to 'mosh' to just like Run West Run was that way too and always an incredible show.  Mark Trehus from the old Oarfolkjokeopus and later Trehus record store produced some releases.  I first saw the 'It's Mine' song on the old AmRep video tape I had posted here and instantly fell in love with the band.  I used to see the singer Shane late nights at First Avenue bar usually in his sailor suit with a gal in each arm!  He let me film his later band 'the Heroin Sheiks' for my old youtube channel and it was a big hit!   Some have called it Acid Rock.

LaBelle - Pressure Cookin' LP 73 w Nightbirds LP 74 w Chameleon LP 76 w PATTI LABELLE - st LP 77

A big thank you to Antonio from Rocketstar Record store for letting me 'rip and return' the 73 album.  A week later I found their mega hit 'Lady Marmalade' on the Nightbirds album and also the breakout album for Patti LaBelle that has a few hits from the old 'Back In The Days Of Soul' radio playlist show I listened to on KMOJ with D.J. Chilly Charles back at Princes' intern station in MN.  The hit songs were, "You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover' and "Joy To Have Your Love' and "Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go  Mine).  Great Goodwill find!        https://gofile.io/d/x5xtiZ

GEORGE BENSON - THE COLLECTION 2LP 81

Yes, he was quite popular back in the day and one of my older brothers who collected vinyl had his double live album with the 'On Broadway" lengthy version that I enjoyed when he gave it to me.  But many other hits I remember on this and the special treat of his cover of 'White Rabbit' takes the cake!

ORLEANS - II LP 74

PLEASE SEARCH ABOVE FOR MORE and ADD ON:  On my recent post of this band from a few weeks ago, I was fortunate that someone had sent in all the others I was missing.  Of all those other blog rips, this album was lowest quality at 128 kb/sec so when I saw it out in the wild and noticed it had the one tune I remember from them 'Dance With Me" I decided to buy and rip it to round out our collection.

ROY BUCHANAN - THAT'S WHAT I AM HERE FOR LP 73

This is some outstanding bluesy tunes that sound great on vinyl.  When I saw it in the Goodwill bins, I couldn't help but to think of Roky Erickson's famous 'Creature with the Atom Brain' voiceover during the tune:  "I told you I'd come back! Remember Buchanan?" "But you're not Buchanan!" "I don't look like him, but I am him Don't you recognize the voice Jim? I promised to see you die, and I will!" "Hey boss let us in! Boss man, let us in that door!.....LOL           https://gofile.io/d/zK7gqO

ERIC BURDON - SUN SECRETS LP 74

JOHN SHINE - SONGS FOR A RAINY DAY LP 75

Another cool request from EW that I went and got at Discogs (most of his obscuro stuff is $5 or less with $5 postage so no big deal on the cost).  The old days of rainy days inside.
