Randy Spivey is a sought after speaker and is recognized as a leading expert in the area of training individuals to prevent and survive Extreme Violence. Since forming CPPS, Randy and his organization have trained over 10 million individuals in Best Practices related to Workplace Violence Prevention, Active Shooter Response, Travel Safety and Security, and Kidnap Survival.
Prior to forming CPPS, Randy enjoyed a tenure as a Department of Defense executive. Randy managed and provided oversight to all Hostage Survival training programs in the Department of Defense from 1997 to 2002 and co-authored multiple hostage-related policy and doctrine documents.
Randy has worked directly with many national-level media organizations to include: ABC World News Tonight, CNN, Fox News Live, MSNBC, Associated Press, History Channel, USA Today, and the New York Times.
Randy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development from South Dakota State University.
