ADDICTIVE TV Live show in London Thursday 26th Feb 2015
Addictive TV performing new 'Orchestra Of Samples' show at Rich Mix
in Shoreditch, London.

Those of you who have been following Mark Vidler's activities in recent years
will no doubt be aware that he is one half of Audio Visual artists
Addictive TV.
This Thursday 26th Feb 2015, Addictive TV will be performing their new
live show 'Orchestra Of Samples'
at Rich Mix in Shoreditch, London.
A brief explanation of 'Orchestra':
It's taken 5 years to film improvised recording sessions with more
than 150 musicians all around the world, who have then been sampled
to create a kind of digital supergroup of artists who never met!
They will be joined onstage by live musicians including a beatboxer, fiddle
player & sitarist.
Mark Vidler will aslo be strapping on the guitar for a couple of numbers.

Addictive TV supporting Wang Chung / London May 25th:
Mark Vidler will be pulling on his Addictive TV hat as the duo play live in
London at the end of this month, supporting 80's band Wang Chung
at Bush Hall in Uxbridge, London on Sat May 25th.
It is Wang Chung's first appearance in London for 25 years.

Mark Vidler Remix available now:
A new Mark Vidler remix is available.
It's a psychedelic reworking of Mike Keneally's title track from last years "Wing Beat Fantastic" album.
The album was a co-write with Andy Partridge of XTC fame.
"Wing Beat Fantastic (Mark Vidler Psychedelic Re-Spray)"
is released on 'Wing Beat Elastic', a compilation of remixes, demos and unheard music by Mike Keneally and is on the
Exowax label.
Mike Keneally explains how the Vidler remix came about:
"Shortly after the release of Wing Beat Fantastic, Andy Partridge encouraged me to let UK producer/musician Mark Vidler try his hand at remixing one of the tracks on the album. Vidler had done some transformative work on some of Andy's music and Andy, not the easiest gentleman to impress, was delighted with the results, and eager to see what he might do with a WBF track. Vidler and I got in touch with each other and he was given the go-ahead to work with the title track.
I thought Vidler's vision of "Wing Beat" the song was pretty fantastic. I appreciated the thoughtfulness with which he re-contextualized the melody harmonically, and loved all the psychedelic touches he imposed. All he used from my original recordings were vocal tracks and some of my guitars in a couple of sections, and he built a completely valid alternate view of the song around them. Job well done!"
On a personal note, doing the remix for Mike was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, where I gave myself free reign to flirt with all manner of psychedelic tomfoolery and pay sneaky homage to XTC and The Dukes of Stratosphear.

Mark Vidler audio edit for Heineken 'The Date' TV ad 2011
I'm pretty sure some of you may have seen this new
Heineken TV Ad in recent months.
It features the Bollywood track "Jaan Pehechaan Ho".
What you may not know is that Mark Vidler was comissioned by Weiden & Kennedy Amsterdam to apply some magic in the
audio editing department and duly obliged.
2 great days in Amsterdam with the W&K team ;)
The spot has gone on to do very nicely thankyou in the Cannes Lions Awards, winning a Bronze.
