ALVISE CAGNAZZO IN ITALY: Zlatan Ibrahimovic's bitter feud with Romelu Lukaku (inset, top) was about more than a stray elbow on the Inter striker on Tuesday night. This all goes back to one thing: who wears the crown in Milan? Back in February 2020, Inter fought back from 2-0 down to claim bragging rights in the derby with a 4-2 win. It was a statement victory for Inter but Lukaku had more to say. Lukaku sealed the win in the 93rd minute and later declared: 'There's a new king in town' (right). It was, without question, a dig at his former Manchester United team-mate. Tongue in cheek in one sense but a warning shot also; Lukaku believes he's a better player and that was never going to sit well with an alpha-male personality like Ibrahimovic (inset, bottom).

The Luke Shaw revival: Man United have a leader hitting his stride after a rollicking from David de Gea, a thumping from Spurs and the signing of a rival left-back sparked him into life
Manchester United's humiliating defeat at home to Spurs appeared to signal the beginnings of drastic change at Old Trafford. That, added to the viral clip of the Red Devils keeper berating his left back, made for grim reading for the English defender. But it was Shaw who emerged to face the scrutiny of the television cameras after the 6-1 hammering to Jose Mourinho's side.
Arsenal come from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 and move up to eighth in the Premier League table with Buyako Saka scoring one and making one as Gunners gain revenge for FA Cup defeat
SOUTHAMPTON 1-3 ARSENAL - SAMI MOKBEL AT ST MARY'S: Mikel Arteta didn't stop barking, Granit Xhaka didn't stop passing, Bukayo Saka didn't stop running and Arsenal can't stop winning in the Premier League. The current silence at football grounds almost serves to amplify what's happening around you: the thud of every pass, the decibel of every touchline order. What's even clearer is that Arsenal are in the ascendancy. It's now five wins in six in the league for the Gunners after this impressive away victory over Southampton. Champions League qualification anyone?
Manchester City hit FIVE at West Brom to storm to the summit of the Premier League with Ilkay Gundogan netting twice against Big Sam's strugglers
WEST BROM 0-5 MAN CITY - JACK GAUGHAN AT THE HAWTHORNS: When they are like this, you can never be quite sure how many players are out actually there in Manchester City blue. It certainly does not feel like only the eleven named. Maybe someone sneaks on without anybody noticing. Just way too good, way too slick. Pep Guardiola appeared to have about three false nines on the pitch, West Brom a spinning top waiting to collapse.
Thomas Tuchel gets straight to work on the training ground after Chelsea confirm his appointment on an 18-month deal to replace sacked Frank Lampard
Thomas Tuchel (main) has been confirmed as Frank Lampard's successor at Chelsea. Lampard (right) was dramatically sacked on Monday after a dismal run of form has left them ninth in the Premier League table and 11 points off leaders Manchester United. Sportsmail understands that owner Roman Abramovich (left), despite preferring to wait until the summer to make a change when more of his preferred replacements would have been more readily available, accelerated his initial interest in Tuchel immediately after the loss to Leicester and with the German available immediately after his sacking by PSG in December played a role in making the change mid-season.
Ex-Man Utd team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an extraordinary bust-up in Coppa Italia Milan derby as Inter striker tells Swede 'f*** you and your wife' - before AC star is later sent off
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku clashed heads (left) and exchanged heated words (centre) as tempers flared between the two during the Milan derby Coppa Italia quarter-final on Tuesday night. The former Manchester United team-mates got into it during the dying moments of the first half. Lukaku and Ibrahimovic were involved in a verbal joust before they bumped heads having not seen eye-to-eye, which resulted in both being booked by referee Paolo Valeri. The tension was palpable upon the half-time whistle with Lukaku trying to chase Ibrahimovic down the tunnel. The 27-year-old could be heard telling the AC Milan striker 'f*** you and your wife, you little b****' as his Inter team-mates had to hold him back. Lukaku had the last laugh though as his side prevailed 2-1 in the quarter-final.
Christian Eriksen goes from zero to hero for Inter Milan as his stunning 97th-minute free-kick earns Coppa Italia quarter-final win over rivals AC after bad-tempered clash - with Zlatan Ibrahimovic SENT OFF after earlier clashing with Romelu Lukaku
INTER MILAN 2-1 AC MILAN: Inter Milan are through to the Coppa Italia semi-finals thanks to a stunning injury-time free-kick by Christian Eriksen. Eriksen stepped up in the 96th minute to curl home into the top corner to complete a comeback victory for Inter against their bitter rivals AC Milan. It was an ill-tempered affair that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic sent off for AC - in what was the turning point of the match.

With the announcement being made at 5:30pm, the visitors had already made the three-and-a-half trip to the Peninsula Stadium in preparation for the match and Neville was quizzed by fan whether he would compensate (top-left).
Newcastle defender Fabian Schar confirms he was NOT spat on by Rodrigo despite his furious reaction to Leeds forward leaning over him and social media accusations
Leeds forward Rodrigo caused an angry reaction from Fabian Schar after getting in the face of the Newcastle player while he lay on the floor, leading to speculation he had spat at his opponent. Schar was on his back when Rodrigo leaned into his face during the second half. The defender immediately jumped to his feet and confronted the Spaniard and both players were booked. A video of the incident soon circulated on social media in which it was speculated Rodrigo had spat at Schar, although the footage was inconclusive and no allegation has been made. Sources claim there was an exchange of words as opposed to spitting.

Premier League referees change guidance to rule that allowed controversial Bernardo Silva goal to stand after Manchester City team-mate Rodri came from offside position to steal the ball off Tyrone Mings
EXCLUSIVE BY MIKE KEEGAN: Guidance has been added to the offside rule - which would have rendered Manchester City's controversial goal against Aston Villa offside in a move which has been described as a 'face-saving exercise'. Urgent talks were held after outrage followed Bernardo Silva's opener at the Etihad Stadium, which saw City midfielder Rodri come from an offside position to steal the ball from Tyrone Mings and set up the Portugal man to break the deadlock in an eventual 2-0 win for the home side.
Jack Wilshere scores his first goal in more than three YEARS as Bournemouth reach FA Cup fifth round with narrow victory against League Two Crawley
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 CRAWLEY TOWN: The Cherries opened the scoring when Arnaut Danjuma found Josh King, whose deft back-heel was cleverly steered in by former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere from outside the box. Just before the hour John Yems' side were level, striker Tom Nichols poking home from inside the box, but shortly afterwards Danjuma and King combined again to restore the hosts' lead. Jason Tindall's side survived late Crawley pressure to reach the FA Cup fifth round.
'It was an honour. Once a Red, always a Red': Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo tweets emotional goodbye as his loan spell at Manchester United ends, with a £7million-a-year offer from Dubai, Premier League and MLS interest among his options
Ighalo (pictured) will initially return to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua at the end of this month ahead of his next transfer - with a £7m-a-year offer from a club in Dubai plus interest from MLS clubs and the Premier League among his options. The 31-year-old scored five goals across 23 appearances in all competitions for United and provided a low-cost, low-risk option up front but was phased out following the signing of Edinson Cavani. The boyhood United fan said in a tweet: 'It's so hard to see this dream come to an end. 'But I give God the glory for helping me fulfil this lifelong dream of putting on a Manchester United shirt as a player and represent this great club, it was indeed an honour I will forever cherish and be grateful for.'
