    I don't want to read Alexander's views when he is in a pessimistic mood... ...but I have to agree with him. Add to this, the flirt with vaccine-protectionism, EU-UK tensions, Italy's political crisis, rule of law challenges and growing domestic tensions over Covid measures.

    It is obviously easy to criticize from the sidelines. I admire those - from all walks of life - who are trying to sort out the situation. It will require a lot of patience, stamina and difficult decisions. This crisis will continue to mutate, just like the virus. 3/3

    Excellent analysis . I think that the EU recovery plan is a kind of economic vaccination against all of the chaos that covid causes. It might not be great for a Finnish tax payer, but I believe that it is better than the alternative.
