AboComix: A collective who publishes comics, zines, and art created by LGBTQ people behind bars, as part of their overall mission to support LGBTQ prisoners and give them a platform with the general public.

Between the Bars: This website has a host of volunteers transcribing blog posts on behalf of actively incarcerated people, who cannot operate a blog directly due to prison restrictions. Posts can be browsed by author, subject, etc. If you want to help transcribe letters, volunteering can be done digitally.

Ear Hustle (Podcast):  A podcast outlining the daily realities of live inside prison shared by those living in it, as well as stories from the outside post-incarceration.

Journal of Prisoners on Prisons: A prisoner written, academically oriented and peer reviewed, non-profit journal.

Prisons Foundation: Published books by incarcerated individuals.

Prison Legal News: An independent 36-page monthly publication that provides a cutting edge review and analysis of prisoner rights, court rulings, and news about prison issues.

Safe Streets Arts: Uses the arts to allow all segments of the criminal justice community to communicate with each other and with the public.

Teen Poetry Collections: The Pongo Publishing Teen Writing Project is a nonprofit effort that helps incarcerated Seattle teens express themselves through poetry and other forms of writing.
