    I can’t emphasize how crazy this is. You would expect a sovereign debt default to trigger this (although you might not expect the default, as LTCM did not!). Not a sub $300M market cap (this summer!) GME to get >100% short interest + insane options exposure from Redditors...

    5/ I just hope we don’t go to the knee-jerk response of more laws to prevent X, more departments to administer X, more people to check on the preventing and the administering. That invariably makes things WORSE and more sclerotic...learn from small! Be small!

    4/ “But Israel is a small country and the US is a big country!” That’s a cop-out. Israel is a bigger country (population) than all but 10 US states! There are other clear cultural differences (universal military service, newer country, necessity of competence for survival!)

    3/ When you’re trying to achieve product-market fit — do something new! — you need fewer decision makers, and a team empowered/capable to build. Small companies ship, big companies announce. Big companies can’t even find who the shippers are!

    2/ Reagan said “Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.” Applying a small company / large company lens, *making something bigger does not make it better or faster* - the opposite! I like small government because small (usually) is more EFFECTIVE

    Suggestion: Stay at home order shojld still remain in effect for *one* person, namely Gavin Newsom...paving way for competent leadership.

    Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to announce Monday that the stay at home order will be lifted in all regions of the state, according to a letter from the California Restaurant Association to its members.
