Hey, @7NewsAustralia: despite your weird headline, the ABC didn’t “back down” from Porter’s lawsuit. They didn’t bring the case against him, he brought it against them. There absolutely *was* a humiliating backdown, correct, but it sure as eggs wasn’t the ABC.

Christian Porter says the ABC regrets the article. That is not true. The ABC said, “Both parties accept that some readers misinterpreted the article as an accusation of guilt against Mr Porter. That reading...is regretted.” The misreading is regretted, NOT the article. #auspol

One inaccuracy I must correct. Christian Porter today accused me of lying. This is false. No money was paid to Mr Porter. There was no apology. The story remains online.

Assistant Treasurer @MichaelSukkarMP just told @3AWNeilMitchell "the last thing Victorians need right now" is political bickering. But worse than bickering is losing your job and not being able to pay the rent this week. Victoria needs targeted Commonwealth lockdown support.

Just remember there would be no state vaccination centres if the state govt listened to the Feds ( they argued against them)... soon they will blame them for something I am sure.
