    I reviewed Bose’s QuietComfort Earbuds. They beat both the AirPods Pro and Sony’s 1000XM3 earbuds at noise cancellation. And they sound great. That charging case is a chonk, though.

    That was a tremendous tribute to Jon Huber and made it abundantly clear what a special, loving person he was. And how powerfully he’ll be missed. Well goddamn done, AEW.

    Also helps that the 2020 “upgrade” was easy to ignore since it’s so, so similar — as is performance. Short of OLED, not sure what it’ll take to get me to put this one aside.

    It’s been two years, so I feel like I can say the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2018) is all around the best Apple “computer” I’ve ever bought. Still chews through every task and is (usually) a joy to use. There are still situations where there’s no replacing a Mac. Fewer lately, though.

    We all cope with tragedy in different ways. There is never a good time to experience loss and we can not know what anyone else is feeling or going thru. In a year of so much hardship, let’s all try to give extra empathy to those around us.
