DIRECTOR'S CUT: A child volunteers as sacrifice during a night time riverside ritual. Adults attach chains to the child's feet and give them a large rock to hold. Two adults then start to swing the child, as if building momentum to throw them into the water. A character screams for them to stop and they do. The child is shown returning to their mother, both seeming unconcerned.

No but there are children considerably hurt

It’s tricky to say. One of the children is blamed by the father for the death of another one of the children and it leads him to unintentionally be cold and distant towards her, which does cause her pain

A child is subjected to shock and psychological hangups from the events surrounding him, but at no point does someone actively attempt to harm the child.

Children are imperiled and killed, but would not categorize as child abuse.

Ryan purposely causes his baby an allergic reaction in the finale, and later abandons the baby completely.

JD's dad is almost certainly abusive, though nothing gruesome is depicted. He speaks toward his son with extreme contempt. He has a lot of rage boiling below the surface, and it feels as though he might explode at any moment.

One of the main characters is an actor playing a villain in a TV show who holds a little girl for ransom and throws her on the floor. This is entirely fictional (in the context of the movie) and the child actor isn't harmed whatsoever and the scene ends very sweetly.

Baby mobs can technically be abused, but this is preventable.

A bit of a grey area. No domestic abuse, but since there are kid superheroes, they get thrown around a bit and take some punches by villains. Cartoony violence, not intense.

No but heavy favoritism is shown from parents towards their kids

Miguel is forced not to participate in his favorite hobby and a member of his family destroys his homemade guitar, then immediately becomes sweet in an attempt to manipulate him. This is emotional abuse.

I mean, there is no child abuse in the usual sense, but the two kids in the movie are brutalized and terrorized throughout the whole movie with no reprieve.
