    Anne was the first woman to become the president of a Musicians Union local in the US. She faced violent attacks from right wing union members for being a feminist and openly socialist. Her song "Have You Been to Jail for Justice" has been sung by activists around the world.

    At first, faces were collected via photography & researchers were meticulous about consent - with DL came large amounts of photos "in the wild", sourced by Web scrapes/surveillance. Even metrics evolved as DL led to a shift from matching to label/predicting face characteristics.

    A long overdue pre-print is finally out today!📣📣 Me & wrote of the horrors we find looking through over 100 face datasets with 145 million images of over 17 million subjects (clues: lots of children & Mexican VISAs).

    ON PUBLIC CHARGE: Officials will review, not rescind, the best-known of these Trump policies — the “public charge” rule, which would deny permanent legal status to immigrants who might use, or whose U.S.-citizen children might use, public benefits.
