Hi, my name is Miguel, I’m a trans dude, and I live in São Paulo, Brazil. Basically, there’s a huge political crisis with our president hiring military folk to high politician ranks in health, defense, education and more (if you know your brazilian history, in 1964 we suffered a coup d’état and military dictatorship installed itself in the government, and it was the worst period in our history. now 10+ military men [white/cis/het] are in top ranks in our government. coincidence?), and as of now (11/04/2020), we are STILL the 3rd ranking country in COVID cases.

I am a tattoo artist, but COVID prevented me to work since I live with my (diabetic, elderly and hypertense) parents. We’ve been locked up in quarantine since 03/16/2020. First we self quarantined, then the government issued the lockdown. I don’t have any way to work or to keep myself fed during these unpredictable times. I made an arrangement with my Mother to pay rent by making small tattoos on her every month (yeah….. that bad) but until this nightmare is over and I can actually work again, I’m forced to ask for help. x_x I don’t know what happened, if everyone is holding tight because of the quarantine, but even so, I have to ask for help. I’m desperate.

I promised myself to not be ashamed to ask for help again, so I won’t.  If you can’t donate, I completely understand! Trust me, I do! It’s a rough time for a lot of people right now. But please, p l e a s e consider at least signal boosting this post! that’s a great help for me!
