Supposedly progressive people are really weird with their criticisms of gender nonconformity in men
I’m like - as a gender nonconforming trans person this is not a great take. And they are like “oh but these are CIS people” and it’s just like listen… I have to police my own gender expression so I don’t get punched in certain public bathrooms, and I’ve still had preachers yell at me about being a “sodomite” at the bus stop. If a cis straight person wants to sit with me I think that’s chill. Not to mention that the lines between gender, and even the line between cis and trans can be blurry, elusive things.
