Lil self-promo
So, I run an open species ARPG (Emphasis on open. You can make your own without ever touching the ARPG, the ARPG is just the added ‘game’ with its own rules) and I had done a challenge to design as many critters as possible to fill a single canvas.
Problem is: I don’t exactly want to pile 31 new animal species onto myself because I would have to draw up not only a sheet for each one but write a bunch of basic lore that I will then have to expand.
So, I made a poll.
You don’t have to join anything and your emails are not collected(I don’t need your emails, I don’t want your emails). I just need people to vote.
Feel free to share it around, too. I don’t plan on closing it until the 21st.
Also, I didn’t really look at anything for reference. I just went 'this line feels cool’ and went from there. So there’s a few 'yeah, that’s an animal but a little messed up’ mixed with 'what is this, the precambrian?’

Work Retail. All I got was an unidentified hip issue that means I gotta take prescription pain killers just to sleep most nights because of the pain. Though, on the plus side I’m leaving for something that won’t make my unknown issue worse.
Not going to miss getting nasty looks for rebagging items so raw meat’s not with cooked meat or vegetables. How none of the cashiers think about how gross it is that they put the raw meat with everything else is beyond me. I’ve had customers thank me for what is basic food safety.

So, with the recent mention of VG from fire in fr discussion, I thought I’d let you guys know that they’re not the only one who has made a return to the public forums. Idk how much of the bigoted discord friend group is still active, but judging by forum post history we have VG from fire, E from light, X from plague, and fc from earth.
fc from earth even has an art tumblr that I had the misfortune of stumbling upon earlier while browsing the flightrising tag. In one post they say that the “gender radical” badge they have at the bottom of their fr profile was “made for their friend group” and “it is mostly a joke one”.
Don’t trust any of these fuckers and don’t give them money, they’re all more than happy to antagonize real life queer people while cashing in the payments they got from drawing your queer characters.

I can’t say much about the others, but I had interacted with VG from fire(Otherwise known as VonGacy on FR and on TH) sporadically for several months during the end of last year/beginning of this year via a server she owns/co-owns, Our Species. It’s an open species hub server.
I had found some interactions with her quite odd, as on at least two occasions she went on rants about vegetables being bad for you after me mentioning my love of peas. I think I have screenshots somewhere, but I’d have to dig a little. I remember during one incident, she made statements that upset me and one other person. One of them was implying that going full carnivore can cure autism, which she dialed back on when I pointed out how that sounded, seeing as I myself am autistic. The rest could be argued as a debate because she was also saying things that could easily be considered fatphobic. Again, I would have to see if I have screenshots, so take my word with a grain of salt.
The reason I was in this species server in the first place was to share my several open species. She was in the server for my species for several months, leaving after an unknown period of time. I and my server staff did dig up proof of her past actions as soon as I found out that we had a possible transphobe in our space. Which I will link below for the ease of anyone else looking at this. Based on my own experiences, while normally I would love to give a benefit of a doubt, I have no reason to beleive she’s changed at all.
And, since I can easily find these, what proof I had presented to my server staff(This is before I noticed that she was no longer in my server) that the TH and the FR were owned by the same person. While the line thickness is different, the signiture is otherwise the same. I had to look at her older art because she no longer puts a signiture on her art.
If I can find the screenshots I mentioned, I’ll add them as soon as possible.

Found what screenshots I have. There’s likely chunks missing and I thing the mobile screenshots are out of order. Plus this is missing the mention of peas. My stomach simply dropped upon rereading these and all I can say is that just from this one incident, I can’t beleive I hadn’t left her server beforehand.
There’s also potentially medical misinformation in the screenshots. These were all from a single incident.

These were all in a public server. The incident happened(As I vented to a close friend to try to calm down) around october 15, 2022.
Then this is part of the second incident, also started with peas.
I have 3 other screenshots I don’t feel are completely relavent(I might add them in if asked to, but otherwise it’s mostly just more of the same). But the second incident took place November 6, 2022.

I haven’t posted in forever but I had shower thoughts and I want to share.
So a few of my friends probably have heard this story before, which is my favorite case of failing so hard I won.
This was back when I was like 12, so some details might not be accurate.
Anywho, I was 12ish, maybe 13. My mom decided she’d leave me in charge of food while she and my dad went and got groceries or some shit. I also have auditory processing issues. Dinner was a casserole and two pies for dessert. You see where this is going?
Well, she told me to make sure to put cheese on the casserole and check the pies. I didn’t hear half of it and was confidant that I understood what was asked. So I put the cheese on the pies and did jack shit about the casserole. I didn’t even know the casserole existed. That casserole was forgotten like the gunk at the back of the fridge. The casserole somehow was completely fine despite the fact that as far as I was aware, it didn’t exist.
Anywho, my parents got home. The house was in one piece and I was very proud of myself, as you are when you’re 12, dumb as shit, and managed to cook something edible by yourself. My parents were less than impressed by the becheesed pies.
My punishment? I got both pies to myself. I was tasked with eating my unholy abominations. I probably got sick of them after a few days of coming home after school and having cheesy pie because noone else was allowed to have my pies. But fucking yeah, I had pies and they were all mine.
10/10 I would happily cheese some pies again.

As someone who has seen multiple people make OCs that are literally real people but as ‘x species’, it’s really gross. Those are real people, with real lives. And it’s really bad in closed species communities. If I had a dollar for every time I saw a character that’s just a real person, I’d have at least 20 dollars. Which is too many. Especially when it’s something with a breeding mechanic.
No matter how popular someone is, they’re still a person. Don’t treat them like a fictional character.
