Could you please @ this account if you run into any of our old posts or anything that has that url on it that isn’t…like…hateful (since this is Tumblr and we can imagine people posting shitty things on our posts and even our reblogs)? We would like to reblog and actually keep anything that might be left of said account, as a reminder of our growth (plus we also had like a TON of stuff we found useful on it, et). Tysm if you find one and do this for us.

[Image ID: • Moving out and away from our shitty body’s parents, but this time it’s more sustainable because we aren’t a university student anymore.

• Subsequently realizing that we can just….Own Our Space without gearing someone will be leaning over it. //end image ID]

[Image ID: • A stable job that isn’t just $9.00 USD an hour.

• The freedom to exist as an endogenic plural system, even if it’s just in one of our rooms.

• Establishing an actual routine for self-care needs. Like, we can actually use a toothbrush and not worry someone else used it?! //end image ID]

[Image ID: • Learning to cook without facing incredulous amounts of ridicule for never knowing how to actually operate a knife and cutting board/just starting with scrambled eggs/“how do I fry a potato?”

• Our cat is also less stressed not having to deal with other weird animals now. //end image ID]

[Image ID: Like, no these aren’t accompishments, but they are a very Specific set of experiences and we just,, hate the hate going around for 2020.

We just….we have conflicted feelings about how people feel this year because we feel like we can’t be the only ones who saw this opportunity. //end image ID]

I figured we should post this over here before it’s too late (it’s currently about 9:30PM over here), since some of us who have been in the system longer (particularly anyone from before 2020 and who was active after middle school, as well as Hailey) had talked about this before, internally.

That’s not to say I never wanted a damn drink this year, though.
