in a muppets phantom of the opera obviously erik is the one human actor and miss piggy seems like the obvious choice for christine and then kermit as raoul so he can be somewhat protagonist but if miss piggy were christine none of the plot would happen because she’d just fucking deck erik so she has to be carlotta and then kermit as one of the theater owners. there’s gotta be at least one other female muppet they can use as christine im just blanking on one rn and worst case they can make a new puppet. all the people erik kills are just gonzo multiple times because he won’t die but nobody notices because he wears a different hat every time. statler and waldorf are just themselves or maybe the previous theater owners but instead of selling the theater bc theyre scared of erik they just decided to retire so they can be full time hecklers

oh good one but janice is super laid back and i think christine needs to be a little high strung to work because she’s stressed the fuck out for the whole story though I guess a version of the phantom where christine is just chillin and more confused by erik’s antics than anything approaching scared could be funny it just would also make it hard to make a lot of the plot happen because she’d just be chillin instead of scared out her mind. and muppet adaptions are funny but they don’t get their jokes from like undermining the original work’s story so this is actually a lot more finnicky than anticipated when i slammed out this post real quick lol anyway thank you for your contribution to the important cause of me thinking about muppets phantom

In case anyone wants it, I combined the OG pride colors (with the pink and turquoise) with the black and brown stripe bc I hadn’t seen it done and I wanted it.

Original in black was from April 2019, started the new sketch in blue in November 2020 (still sort of in progress now lol). Not all that long, but I think there's definite improvement, think the new one has more energy.

But also beware that some producers have made up their own certificates, with no outside oversight. These essentially fake certificates include Cocoa Life, the certificate invented by Mondelez – one of the companies listed behind the link for using slave labour, who stopped using Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa and switched to their own certificate instead.
