genders based on the dungeons and dragons fifth edition playable races! this is the first of a few posts - this one includes the playable races from the player’s handbook. tiefleic was coined via submission to my blog earlier this year (post here), so the flags and definitions are inspired by that one! the flag colors are mostly taken from official d&d art.

as an umbrella term, i’ve decided to tag these as dundraic genders!

dragonbornic: a gender that is reminiscent of, related to, or best represented by the dragonborn race from dungeons and dragons. can be a kingender, but isn’t always.

dwarfic: a gender that is reminiscent of, related to, or best represented by the dwarf race from dungeons and dragons. can be a kingender, but isn’t always.

elfic: a gender that is reminiscent of, related to, or best represented by the elf race from dungeons and dragons. can be a kingender, but isn’t always.

gnomic: a gender that is reminiscent of, related to, or best represented by the gnome race from dungeons and dragons. can be a kingender, but isn’t always.

amplusianvague/amplusvague: a gender that is mostly or around amplusian, but is only approximate due to one’s neurodivergence causing difficulties defining their gender. basically, a gender that one can approximate is in some way fluid, flux, or otherwise non-strict/stable, but their neurodivergence makes it difficult for them to define it fully.

lorarchic: a gender related to selkies, the cold, brisk sea, and the feeling of new beginnings. can be influenced by one’s selkie kintype or an affinity with the ocean.

pronounced ‘lore-ark-ic’. ‘lor-’ comes from the latin word ‘lorica’, meaning ‘coat’, and ‘archic’ from the italian word ‘archi’, meaning ‘beginning’.

(1/2)Okay so I’m aromantic but also call myself arovague and I was just thinking about how my ‘vagueness’ influence my willingness(??) to be in relationships more than me being aromantic if that makes sense. So is there a word where one’s feelings about being in relationships (romantic, alterous, qp, platonic, etc.) feels influenced or linked to one’s (in part or wholly) neurodivergence? If not I was thinking about calling it vagueamorous? (or vagueships, vagueian??)

i really like the idea of this! so the definition would be:

vaguian/vagueamorous: someone whose feelings about being a in relationship (of any type) are influenced by or linked to their own neurodivergence

and as for the terms, i feel like vaguian might be preferred as it sounds like it could be used as both an adjective and a noun, but vaguamorous is also good! and a relationship involving one or more vaguian folks would be called a vagueship!

vanillagender: a gender related to vanilla in some way. it may be related to the flavor, the plant, the extract, etc. this could be a gender that is sugary, warm, and lightly floral; a gender that seems sweet but hides a bitterness within; a gentle, yet distinct and potent, gender; or any other definition that the user sees fit

unfemgender: a nonbinary gender that is unfeminine in nature

unmascgender: a nonbinary gender that is unmasculine in nature

for anon! these terms are somewhat opposites of femgender and mascgender, and the flags use inverted colors from those flags and similar colors to my planetian and rigelian flags!
