it’s abundantly clear to me that most truscum ideologies are inherently colonialist and based entirely on western concepts of gender… like, the idea that dysphoria is required to even count as a ‘valid’ trans person is deeply-rooted in colonialist ideas of gender. many cultures (even some western ones) don’t consider long hair to be inherently feminine. a native trans man who doesn’t want to cut his hair is not a “tucute trender,” you’re literally just forcing trans people of color into boxes that were made by colonizers.

the same goes for trans people who don’t bind/tuck, take hormones, or want surgery–for any reason–but, in particular, cultural and religious reasons, as well as people who use neopronouns, nounself pronouns, or their name/s in place of pronouns because their native language does not already accommodate an exact ‘they/them’ equivalent. expecting every single trans person in the world to conform to some stupid rules a bunch of white trans men made up is uhmm… fucking disgusting and literally transphobic!

Yes, two spirit might be considered another gender, but it’s still binary; as the person has both a “female” & “male” spirit inside their body. They have two genders inside their body, hence it’s still binary and it’s not a “third gender” per-se.
