is it possible / normal for alters to "become" fictives? Example growing up none of us had any real differences from the host until we realized we were plural n some of them took the forms of fictional characters they liked. is that normal???
system-comforts answered:
Hey there anon. I could see how this is something that could happen! System members can change and grow over time, and that includes appearances and identity. I think it’s totally possible for them to distinguish themselves more and for part of that to mean “becoming” a fictive.

I don't know if I'm plural or not. I have expereinced trauma, but I don't think anything really "caused" it. And, I don't really get amnesia gaps and stuff, and most of the time I can control my body if I want to. It just seem like, different "boxes" of kinds of thoughts. Like different people's thoughts fronts. I don't know how to explain it or how to confirm if I'm plural. I don't want to harm the community by identifying with something I'm not. I think I can identify with the term median?

Hey there anon. I wanted to say a few words. I’m glad you’re here questioning if you’re plural. It’s a huge step, and you are always welcome to explore yourself and to explore what labels might apply to you and your situation. If median seems right, you are always welcome to that.
I also want to emphasize that being plural is not just a list of symptoms. That even within those symptoms, systems may vary, and all are equally valid. Some may not even experience amnesia or complete switches. Again, every system is different, and at least on this blog (and in many other plural spaces) that diversity is celebrated.
I wish you luck in finding out more about yourself anon. If you need any more advice, our blog is always open, and we’re sure plenty of other systems, including medians ones, are more than willing to help as well.

Yo you got any tips on how to pick out good color schemes and stuff? Youre really good at it, i swear looking at anything you post i just "ooh soft,, pretty colors" (if not thats chill, somethings ya just just can't explain)

Imma make ya a lil tutorial ;)
Picking colours has a lot to do with ~Colour Relativity~ also known as Value.
It doesn’t matter what colours you end up picking, you’ll need to start with this kind of balance. Use the KISS method; Keep It Super Simple. Too many colours can make your image muddy and/or confusing.
How to pick an awesome palette? Take a look at this cool shit.
Colour families can give your image a sense of unity. They’re also really handy for setting different moods. Warm colours are usually associated with high energy, big feelings like happiness and love! Cool colours are more subdued and carry heavier, slower connotations like sadness. Or just a KICK ASS AESTHETIC pic.
Bold colours are very fun to use but too many of them can hurt.
TL;DR:
- Have dark, light, and midtones in your palette
- Pick a colour & use colours similar to it
- Limit your use of hyper-saturated colours.
