crispychaotic asked: We're a system, and I am xenogender aligned (my gender feels like an earthy thing, so maybe earthgender? it's hard to describe) and then another one of us feels like their gender feels like a pond of ice, and so do you have any suggestions on what genders these may correspond to?

some earth-related genders are:

  • Biogender: A gender that is connected to nature in some way.
  • Earthgender: A gender identity that is directly affected, tied to, or influenced by the earth or nature. or; a gender identity similar to/the same as that of some form of earth deity. Note: this gender identity is not to be used by duotheistic pagans or wiccans, because of the general consensus in those faiths that the earth deity being worshiped (mother earth) is a female. it can be used by non-duotheistic pagans, non-wiccans, and non-pagan otherkin whose kintypes are nature-based (naturekin, forestkin, faekin, plantkin etc).
  • Homgender / Worlgender: A gender that feels connected to Earth and its nature.
  • Ouygender: A gender that is related to trees and wood.
  • Firmagender:  An earthly gender, characterized by calmness and stability. It is different from the existing earthgender because it is specifically associate with land, soil, ground, etc instead of earth/nature in general.
  • Meridic: A biogender connected to all energies of life on earth with an underlying tone of power and other worldly energy.

as for ice-related genders, there’s these:

  • Glacgender: A xenogender thats animalistic and otherworldly with a strong connection to ice. An exemgender.
  • Glacegender: A gender that evolves from a connection to cold or ice.
  • Dunkelian: A gender related to dusk, days gone by, ice, fog, the moon, coldness, tea, and trees. Feels old to the user and disintegrated and may turn into Börjanine.
  • Skymningine: A gender related to the twilight, night, shades of mauve and purple, frozen ponds, water, ice, and cloth. Feels lost and vanished at day, but regains its way in the night.
  • Niveusbaonic: A neutral gender somehow connected to snowmen, dead trees, snowfall, ice, icicles. snowflakes, bleakness, the feeling of coldness, warm cocoa, comfortable homes, candles, fireplaces, peace, rebirth, and life. It is fluidflux, and can be connected to the smell of wood burning and evergreens.
  • Snowian: A xenic alignment to snow.
  • Stratusio: A gender related to stratus clouds, rain, and unclear skies. Feels covered and cold.
  • Winternarian: A gender connected to winter. It feels cool and calm, like a wintry morning in December. It can also be connected to the smell of fir trees, the falling snow, and fireplaces.
  • Glarogender: When what your gender is depends on the weather: only having/feeling a gender when it is cold. Comes from the word ‘Glace’, French for ice.
  • Blizgender: A gender that feels cold, snowy, and harsh.
  • Wintergender: Similar to blizgender, but it also encompasses a second gender, or has other known gender qualities to it. A winterboy might experience both a cold, harsh, and snowy gender, but also being male, or having masculine qualities, also for example.
  • Frostgender: A gender that feels cold and snowy.
  • Freezegender: Similar to frostgender, but it also encompasses other genders as well, such as a freezegirl experiencing both a cold and snowy gender but also being a female, for example.

tootransforthis-deactivated2021 asked: Hi so I already id as genderfluidflux(NB and male) but the temperature/ and hardness of my gender shifts with it. So for example, if I'm intensely NB my gender will also feel warm and hard/solid while if I'm less intensively male it will feel cold and soft. Is there a term for this sort of thing?

I couldn’t find a term like that, but the closest terms I could find were Calidgender:  a gender that is not male, female, or nonbinary but exists. Has a solid core and a non-solid (but not liquid or gas) surrounding and is warm and Frigugender: a gender that is not male, female, or nonbinary but exists. Has a solid core and a non-solid (but not liquid or gas) surrounding and is cool. There’re a lot of modified terms for these, like fluid, flux, masc., fem., nonbinary etc. versions, so I recommend looking at this post and this post and seeing if anything fits.

Your best bet would probably be to coin your own gender. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

Under the cut there’s some warm, hard/solid, cold and soft genders, if you (or anyone else) are interested.
