You were once. A long time ago. Back when the skies were still blue overhead, and you could hear the bustle of life floating on the wind from town. You remember the feeling of pride that stole through you when the house you served bestowed upon you your first sword. Back then, you stood tall and your armor gleamed in the sun. There were brothers and sisters who stood with you, who believed in what you believed, who took the same oaths you took.
Lin won’t turn around. Her long, black hair is blowing faintly in the breeze and the torn edges of her green traveling cloak flutter around her calves. In front of her lies the ruins of a once great temple, crumbling pillars on either side of a massive set of stone steps. Every surface is covered in a thick, wet moss that smells like the rain that just passed through.
The altar at the base of the stairs leading to the temple, however, shines as if newly polished.
I can’t help but chuckle whenever Tails introduces himself by stating, “My name’s Miles Prower, but my friends call me Tails” because… well… Eggman calls him Tails…

Eggman goes to a science conference and decides to sit in on a rocket-science lecture by some dude called Dr. Miles Prower and then has a heart attack when Tails walks onto the stage and starts talking
I know next to nothing about the Addam’s Family’s greater canon, but the fact that Lurch is visually so strongly based on Frankenstein’s Creature makes me so happy, because it’s the happy ending the Creature deserves and I can so imagine it? You have the Creature at the end of the novel who is lonely and who has resigned himself that he will never be loved and that all humans will reject him on sight and then he meets the Addam’s Family and they are the first ones who don’t attack him or run away screaming - they either don’t say anything or even more likely, they are high-key excited about a Creature put together from corpses. That’s probably the highest Addam’s aspiration, to be more than 1 corpse. So they take him in and he has a family for the first time. What a crossover. What over-thinking on my part. I love it.
I’m going to add to this that because of the Creature’s line “I ought to be thy Adam”, many people irl nickname the Creature ‘Adam’ (being the first of his species) so if he were adopted by the Addam’s Family his name would officially be ‘Adam Addams” and I can only approve of that.
He’s not Frankenstein monster anymore, he’s the Adams monster. He’s theirs
Man 1: I know you guys are looking at me weird and that’s completely understandable, but it really was some tall dude in a gimp suit with a cape and horns. Man 1: Yeah the guy showed up when- You remember that flood light in the sky and we were like, ‘Is that a W?’ What does that mean? I’ve no idea. Is that…? What is that? When that turned off he came by and nearly murdered us. Man 3: I can’t feel these shits. *regular slapping sounds* I can’t feel that. Not at all. You should slap it too, go ahead! *more slapping sounds* Man 1: Oh yeah, yeah yeah, he had like a car that he left in. It looked like a lava lamp, but to the side, and fire shot out of the back and Rob was really close. (Aside) Is Rob dead? Voice from the off: Rob’s dead. Man 1: Rob’s dead. Man 2: I think we were just moving pot, (aside) right? Just moving pot. Man 1: With all this said and done – it was the coooolest shit I’ve ever seen.
