hey kids if ur parents are abusive, dont be surprised if they suddenly change all their behaviors when u finally move out, if they start acting very nice and never even allude to all those times Before when they were treating u bad. this is a form of gaslighting and if u plan to keep distant from them as an adult, this may well be the defining characteristics of ur interaction w/ them. it’s tough to navigate this, because u will almost definitely wonder: was i abused? listen… when u sit in ur own home someday, maybe w/ a loved one, and things feel good, and the past feels far away, ur abuse was not made up. ur parents really did those things, and whether or not u want to keep them out of ur life or form a new dynamic w/ them, that’s up to u. but never let them make u believe they were always good to u.

no, seriously. victims of emotional abuse have it hard because they do not have the physical marks or the records to “prove” to someone they were hurt and are hurting. most people will not take emotional abuse as seriously as physical abuse, saying “you should get over it” or “sticks and stones”. thats fucking bullshit.
emotional abuse victims who have been forced to do or say or be things you never wanted to, i love you.
emotional abuse victims who have been gaslighted and manipulated to the point where you no longer know what is real, i care for you.
emotional abuse victims who are told they will never be loved by anyone else and they are not a good person, you are amazing.
emotional abuse victims who feel manipulative and often catch themselves mirroring actions of their abusers and feel sick to their stomachs because theyre “turning into them”, you are not them and never will be. you are so much better than that.
emotional abuse victims who have to live every day suffering because nobody understands how messed up you are from what they said or did or made you do, you arent alone.
anyone who reads this, i care for you. please support all victims of abuse every single day because they deserve it just like they deserve the love and care those in the past have failed to provide them

What happened to you wasn’t fair. Don’t downplay it, or tell yourself that other people have it worse. The bottom line is that it should NEVER have happened. What you feel about it is real and valid. It might not be okay right now, but one day it will be. Thank you for surviving. I’m so glad you’re here.
If they aren’t careful, nations have a tendency of being late and just accumulating delay from there because time just doesn’t flow the same, once you’ve lived for centuries. One week isn’t much longer than a day and a month isn’t so far away either, and that paperwork that should have been completed yesterday can easily slide down to two months later if it isn’t delivered on time. Therefore, other secretaries or government members (or unfortunate interns) have to be extra careful to remind personifications of what they have to do, lest they end up unintentionally forgetting.
@h3t4l1a Yes this is absolutely brilliant I love it!!!! 100% canon. There are people whose job is to bring in food and drinks at designed hours otherwise sometimes even Germany slips and every deadline slips by. New airplane tickets have to be found because some personifications missed their departure, hotels room have to be booked last minute for those who need to stay overnight… Personifications are a logistical nightmare. 😂
90% of the people I see on here that preach about tolerance and acceptance and self love and mental health importance are some of the biggest bullies I’ve ever fucking seen.
Remember in the good old days when bullies were just straight up bullies and owned it instead of masking it with “look how kind and caring and selfless and compassionate I am?!”

Baking is largely both a science, and bullshit. Anything from the altitude you’re at, or the mosture in the air, or the way you’re measuring ingredients (ie weight vs volume) can effect how your final result of what you’re making will come out. A few examples just in my grandmother’s Apple Pie recipe are
Her recipe calls for Crisco in the crust, but Crisco changed their formula in 2007, effecting the taste and texture of the crusts made, so adjustments have to be made to account for that
The Apple tree in her backyard is gone, and no apples sold commonly in stores are similar to whatever random variety she had, and there are over 7,500 known varieties of apples
Not all flour that you buy from the store is the same, and I’m not just even talking about like. Cake flour vs wheat flour. Even in the US the kind of regular baking flour differs depending on where you live, and where it’s sourced from
So will I ever make that Apple pie I remember fondly from my childhood? Probably not! Just gotta figure out my own thing that works.
