glitchromantic: when one may or may not have a romantic orientation, but either way, it’s glitched and confusing

glitchsexual: when one may or may not have a sexual orientation, but either way, it’s glitched and confusing

definition from here (apologies for it being a m0gaipedia link, but all of the links provided from there are dead or incorrect, so it’s the best i could find). needed a glitchsexual flag for a request and went ahead and made a few more! since this is essentially the orientation form of glitchgender, i used colors from that flag along with colors for each respective attraction type and ‘glitched’ them in the middle.

flag id: four flags with 5 stripes each. in order, the top two stripes are bright blue and lime green, and the bottom two stripes are bright yellow and red. the center stripes, from right to left and top to bottom, are dark grey, dark blue, green, and dark purple. in the very center of each flag, taking up 1/10th of the full flag width, a section of each stripe has been moved downwards to represent glitching. these center portions have six stripes each, with the top and bottom stripes being half the size of the others, and in order, they are cyan, bright blue, lime green, the center stripe color of that respective flag, bright yellow, and red. end id.

Nazaric-

Nazaric- is a prefix for a romantic / sexual / sensual / etc. attraction that gets effected by someone’s Narcissistic Personality Disorder

This can only be understood by someone who has the disorder and exclusive to those who have NPD

The prefix Nazaric- can be used as a prefix to show specific kinds of attraction, such as: Nazaricfinsexual, Nazaricaromantic, Nazariccaedplatonic, etc

The gender counterpart to this is Nasarigender

The term was coined 5th of July 2021 by tumblr user icarusoblivion

The flag was made on the same day by the same user, it was inspired by beyondMOGAI's NPD pride flag

DISCLAIMER: this term was created by someone with NPD it was not made to mock or ridicule the NPD community, it was created to help explain and express their experiences with their disorder and attraction

gender-resource

Aegogender: the feeling of disconnection or separation of gender from an individual, which may manifest as being genderless and having an abstract/vague connection to a gender, having a gender and feeling disassociated with it and/or imagining one’s gender as though it belongs to someone else.

Etymology

From Latin, “A-” meaning “Without” and “ego” meaning “Myself” + “-gender”, an English neologistic suffix indicating genderness. Likely pronounced as “ay-eegoh-gendur”. It is not known who coined “Aegogender” nor is it known when it was coined. However, the first instance I can find of it’s usage comes from a Catalan Harry Potter forum in 2016. I imagine that aegogender was first coined sometime after the coining of aegosexual, which occurred a few months prior in the same year; it’s likely that aegogender was part of an expansion on the concept represented by the aego- prefix; aegogender is not one of the 229 terms that was coined on MOGAI-archive.

It appears that the initial coining went relatively unnoticed, but took off in 2020 and 2021. The term “aegogender” was added to  LGBTA wiki in Dec. of 2020; it’s my guess that this is what brought the term back to the discussion table.

It is stated that aegogender differs from cassgender in that a cassgender individual does not care about their gender and an aegogender individual feel separated/removed from their gender.

Flag

Using Google to search the web indicates that the only place that indexed the flag that is featured on the LGBTA wiki. The page creator was user MilkkAndHoneyy, who posted the flag. The flag consists of five horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, they are  light blue, grey, spring green, grey and pink. In the center of the flag is a downward-facing, black, isosceles triangle. All the stripes are behind the triangle. The wiki states the following about the flag’s meaning:

The aegogender flag consists of five stripes and a black triangle in the center. The blue, green, and pink stripes represent femininity, masculinity, and neutrality, respectively. The gray stripes represent genderlessness, and the black triangle represents these things being cut away or separated from an individual.

fin-/min-/nin-/xingender + boy/girl combos! i needed a minboy flag for a request and got carried away lol.

(finboy and mingirl are technically subsets of rosboy and azurgirl respectively - they aren’t quite synonyms, but they are definitely related)

Nexus Aroace / Nexelic: A term for someone who knows they are on the aroace spectrum, but doesn’t know where exactly on it they are, due to neurodivergence and/or something similar (for example, plurality).

image

Someone who uses this label may have a lack of understanding of how romantic and sexual attraction works at all, and may have a hard time feeling “just right” with a specific label or experience. As such, someone with this label may, for instance…

  • Feel as though they have a cluster of different pieces of labels
  • Hoard labels due to a vague connection to multiple of them
  • Use no specific aspec labels because none fit just right
  • Have labels that blend into each other due to being a system
  • Have labels that you quickly pick up and later drop or wear out
  • Have a label that feels vague, fluid, flux, or confusing in one/multiple ways, while still being distinctly aspec

This term is largely based off of the nexe- orientation labels by @neopronouns. The term nexelic was made alongside nexus aroace primarily for spadillics (people who don’t use the SAM), but anyone can use either term. The colors of the flag were taken from the aroace spectrum flag.
