92: TAR POND - "Protocol Of Constant Sadness" (2020).

"It's all over now.
I'm in your hands.
Side by side with you.
THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS".

Doom - as it has never been done before.
Consider the pedigree here (Celtic Frost & Coroner members) & you'll still be scratching your head afterwards...

90: ANTHEM EIGHTY EIGHT.

These guys put a proper twist on their version of hardcore, & when your pedigree comes from bands like ASSÜCK, you know it's gonna be powerful, unique & an instant classic (even if Daryl Kahan wasn't part of the lineup).

So glad these guys didn't go the "rich white-boy youth crew jock-laden prison sex orgy" route!

89: SAVIOURS.

"For with great power,
We control the holy slaughter.
The pure hell we have known is now thy throne".

I Hella-Fucking miss this fucking band.

That's right - 2 POSTS IN ONE DAY! Holy Shit, right? And still not ONE comment since day one.

88: BEYOND DESCRIPTION - "A ROAD TO A BRILLIANT FUTURE" (2004).

Triple OG Hardcore / Crossover / Thrash-Masters from Tokyo never let you down.

SINCE 1988, BITCHES!!!

87: BURNED UP BLED DRY.

Somebody on Discogs.com listed this as "Old School Deathcore".
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!
("Scene-Cred" instantly revoked / You had zero to begin with).

(Fort Smith)-styled American Hardcore of the highest caliber.
I MISS THIS BAND.

86: PALE CREATION.

For my money, this was the best band of that whole Meathead Cleveland HC Scene.
Creepy Hardcore w/ a tinge of metal to it. One foot in & one foot out.
And that's fuckin' alright with me.

They weren't trying to be anything they weren't - they were just a fucking kickass (& unique-sounding) band in a dirty pond full of wannabe tuff-guy clones.
