    The legendary artist & dancer Smt AmalaShankar passed away. Survived for more than a century, she is an inspiration to all. A pride for Bengal & of nation too. Deeply saddened. My tribute.

    As it is, dealing with different benches of the SC speaking in different voices is a challenge. Now the same bench, yesterday, finds cause for contempt, and today, discovers freedom to dissent. I wonder if the governing principle is expediency.
