I can’t use the Internet on another phone with Android Auto

If you have more than one device connected to your car via Bluetooth, only one device can project Android Auto at a time. The device projected on your car stereo can access the Internet. To identify which device is currently projected, view your car display settings.

To access the internet, you must have:

  • A Samsung device
  • An Android Auto Wireless supported head unit
  • Mobile data turned on

Connect to the internet

1. On your Samsung device, open Settings.
2. Tap Connections and then Wi-Fi and then Advanced. 
3. Turn on Switch to mobile data.
