    Went into the CBD for the first time since November of last year. It was actually quieter than I expected for a Saturday afternoon, as you can see from the quick pic on Swanston St. The birthday shopping excursion was a success, hitting both a Kpop and anime shop.

    The punt at Punt Road , 1856. Smaller boats in foreground used for pedestrians, larger punt on nth bank used for goods, horses and vehicles. Punt keeper's premises can be seen on the left with a toll gate opposite David Olgivie's vineyard graces the slope of Punt Hill.

    Manchester Press is a bagel café along Rankins Lane, inside a brick building that used to be a printing press, thus the name. Today I had a vegetarian bagel, with grilled eggplant and tahini. – at Manchester Press

    Scots Church, with Burke & Willis statue in its original location, left of image c.1880. The Assembly Hall was built on the site of the old church manse in1915. Burke & Wills were moved on to Spring St allow for the running of cable trams in 1886.
