First off, we've changed the name of Black and Green Review to Wild Resistance: A Journal of Primal Anarchy. The change has been a long time coming and feel that it's more direct.
There is a new site for the journal: wildresistance.org All info will be posted up on there, but for now, the online shop is still on this page. At some point in the near future, that'll probably change too.
Wild Resistance no 6 is now off to the press! The EBook version is now up for sale and the pre-orders for the book have been posted up. The books will be here and starting to ship out late February. 210 pages of anti-civilization discussion, critique and praxis. There is more information posted up here. The opening editorial

BG12: The Cull of Personality: Ayahuasca, Colonialism and the Death of a Healer - Kevin Tucker.
In April 2018, a Canadian man shot and killed the Shipibo-Conibo healer, Olivia Arevalo. He had been going to the Peruvian Amazon on and off for years, seeking one thing: ayahausaca. In his story, he wanted to become a healer. He saw that the Shipibo, and Arevalo in particular, held a cultural...

2018 was an insane year. Rest assured, there will be no period of rest anytime soon.
The world is burning. Literally and figuratively. The reality that civilization was headed right off a cliff was obvious long ago, but the warnings, to date, have yet to be heeded. I don't know if it's too late, but we're not going to stop screaming about it.
We need your help to amplify our anger. To remind the world that change won't come at the polls, it comes in pulling the plug. Literally and figuratively. At no point is there a wind down period where neo-liberals and neo-fascists meet on climate change and realize that we need to pull together. There's a narrative of politicians that it might happen, that it will happen. A narrative that if we keep pushing, there will be a moment of reckoning and that civilization will prevail.
And in the meantime, what are we seeing? A rising tide of fascists, emboldened by political level and unhindered by liberal well-wishing and calls for oversight. Fires rage...

So we've had a hell of a week: On top of Canada Day and 4th of July, last Thursday Minnesota regulators granted permits to the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline overhaul. Line 3 carries Canadian tar sands through Minnesota to Wisconsin plants. The overhaul takes it directly through Ojibwe land and waters, which is set to be met with massive resistance.
In response to the ruling, Tania Aubid, a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, stood and shouted, “You have just declared war on the Ojibwe!” We stand with the Ojibwe. We stand against all pipelines and all extraction industries.
So let's help get them some funds. We're doing an anti-sale/benefit. 15% of all sales through blackandgreenreview.org will go to Line 3 resistance groups/camps. That includes shirt pre-orders and wholesale orders. Help spread the word, buy some books and swag, then get out and block some pipelines.

The unfortunate murder of "Ayahuasca shaman", Olivia Arévalo Lomas. Colonization and entitlement. The madness of the frontier and how the white murderer remains the story. The creepy world of guru tourism. The failed search for meaning as captives within civilization and how colonization powers entitlement escapism. The implications for rewilding. Bashing the feel-good eco-capitalism of Guayaki brand yerba mate. The genocide of the Aché and who is complicit. Slavery and plantations as the product of missionaries. Rewilding and resisting a system that makes white privilege possible. Battling civilization as a whole rather than falling for gurus.
