I am a Reader in Political Theory at the University of Manchester.

I am mainly interested in contemporary normative theory. My interests are both in meta-ethical problems (e.g. the justification of normative principles) and in applied ones (e.g. social and transnational justice in non-ideal circumstances). I currently hold a Leverhulme Research Fellowship to work on a monograph tentatively titled Constructing Justice.
