It may seem like only yesterday we were watching with intensity the love triangle between Mikey, Michael and Stacey, or getting the warm and fuzzies from seeing Lizzie's second chance at love with Seb, but it's time to get ready for a whole new set of MAFS brides and grooms in 2021.

In recent promotional footage, eagle-eyed viewers have been able to score a peek at a few of the new participants for Season 9 of the social experiment, and we're already hooked.
We are first greeted with a very moody-looking aerial shot of a bride walking down the aisle, about to enter her wedding and see her groom for the very first time — one of our favourite moments of every season of Married At First Sight.
Another wedding looks incredibly ornate:

And while we can't see the brides' faces, we do get a glimpse of a few of the other brides just before they enter their wedding and meet their grooms-to-be.
This blushing bride is pictured in the footage also entering her wedding in a flowing lace dress, carrying a white bouquet, with an overlay telling us she "can't believe this is happening".
Another long-haired bride is also introduced in the promo, clearly showing some pre-wedding jitters in the moments before she walks down the aisle.
While we don't know anything about these brides quite yet, it appears as though they're certainly excited to be a part of the experiment and meet their brand new husbands.
But it's not just the brides we get a sneak peek at — we've also spotted a few grooms on the way.
This groom only flashes up for a moment as he turns around to see his bride, wearing a bold red jacket for his big day.
We are also able to spot another strapping groom as he waits at the end of the aisle for his bride to arrive — the most heated of all MAFS wedding moments — and despite our brief glance, you can sense the tension and exhilaration even now.
While we're yet to find out more about the entire cast of MAFS 2021, this sneak peek is enough to get us in the MAFS mood, and frankly we can't wait to see what the next season has in store for us, and the newest participants.
