I've been studying piano tuning, regulation and rebuilding for two years and my ears have gotten accustomed to listening at a very high level, by necessity. I could hear certain sounds in year two that were not accessible to me in year one. This book came back into my life at a good time.

I found the ideas presented in this book very profound. Mystical, moving, memorable--it's hard to begin to describe the experience of reading this book.
