The new authoritarianism

Julia Gillard doesn’t want a bigger Australia.
She ‘understands’ concerns about refugees. She wants ‘effective’ border control.
She will continue to lock up refugees and their kids in concentration camps.
In the Northern Territory Labor’s racist intervention imprisons aborigines in a state of paternalism and land theft.
Gillard’s goons from the Australian Building and Construction Commission are continuing their anti-union pilgrimage. Ark Tribe faces 6 months’ jail at their hands for being a unionist and not attending a meeting with the goons.
In Sydney Sheik Mansour Leghaei was forced out of Australia against his will on the say so of that hot bed of reaction, the Australian Security and Intelligence Organisation.
At the same time Australian Zionists train here or overseas and join in the slaughter of innocents on the Gaza flotilla, including attacking fellow Australians. ASIO does nothing.
In the High Court bikies are arguing that anti-bike club laws are unconstitutional. The state laws give power to Attorneys-General to declare membership of any organisation – not only bike clubs – illegal. You can commit an offence by associating with named members of such organisations.
Stephen Conroy is pushing through internet filter laws ostensibly aimed at child pornography but in fact so broad as to be able to censor most material deemed ‘unsuitable’ in the eyes of Janet Howard.
Muslims across Australia are threatened with burka bans, racist attacks and jail for thought crimes.
We are entering a world of tighter and tighter state control. Only capital is free.
The new authoritarianism is winning its war against our freedoms, slowly, steadily but ever so relentlessly.

What I haven’t done here is list all the erosions of rights, nor link them to globalisation and monopoly capital, and the decline of the economic weight of US imperialism in the world economy and its still massive military strength, nor the role of Australia as an imperialist power in the region and its link to US imperialism. And I haven’t even thought about the stagnant economy and falling profit rates and the need of capital to increase exploitation.

John this is an excellent read by Andrew Gavin Marshall.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=19873
“Global Political awakening and the New World Order”. Zbigniew Brzezinski the godfather of US foreign policy for the last 25 yrs has stated that there is a new “Global Political Awakening”
facilitated by the internet.Brzezinski sees this new awareness as being a real threat to the plans of our Global Oligarchs.
Brzezinski in my view is a power hungry psychopath and Andrew Marshall uses Zbigniew’s quotes to reveal his true nature. He sees the real danger of us ordinary folf wanting dignity and a fair share of the wealth as a threat to their grand plan of a “New world Order”.This “new world order” will be run by corporates and we will have no opportunity of veto by democracy.
They will try in earnest to control the internet, since this is now undermining their power.

John, It is a new form of facism,Global Corporate Facism. The power of money has made our own Govts cower and thus betray their own people.
Webster Griffin Tarpley describes it like atrophism. The way a plant reacts to light. The elites seek the least line of resistance for maximum advantage.
In the end,we all lose, since they will take us to war as before, since their own avarice has cornered them once again.
