Commerce Kickstart is the quickest way to get up and running with Drupal Commerce. It's a great resource for anyone looking to get straight to development or customize a pre-configured template to launch their own online store.

Commerce Kickstart comes in two primary flavors:

• Commerce Kickstart 1.x for Drupal 7:

  Includes the latest versions of Drupal, Commerce 1.x, and the modules it needs to run. Features an optional set of minimal configuration items and development modules you can use to quickly test new patches.

• Commerce Kickstart 2.x for Drupal 7:

  Includes everything from Kickstart 1.x with a larger set of options to create a fully-featured demo store complete with an attractive theme, catalog and search configuration, promotions engine, and a custom back office interface. Try the demo!

What about CommerceKickstart.com and Drupal 8?

For a while we maintained CommerceKickstart.com as a browser based tool you could use to build the Composer file for a Drupal Commerce 2.x project. It proved more difficult to maintain than we expected, so we've taken it offline for now.

To evaluate Drupal Commerce or launch a project quickly on Drupal 8, we strongly recommend using our Drupal Commerce Demo (or the non-demo project base) as a starting point.

Commerce Kickstart is maintained by Centarro (formerly known as Commerce Guys). We launched Centarro Toolbox, a collection of SaaS products and support packages that make it easier to run Drupal Commerce. Our next product release will focus on making it easier to get started with Drupal Commerce, filling the gap left by the lack of a distribution on Drupal 8.

While limiting, this approach makes it possible to maintain a large number of Express sites with a relatively small staff.

Bear is a Starter Kit Installation Profile to be used as an alternative to the Minimal or Standard profile when installing a Drupal 7 or Drupal 8 website.

Bear contains many enhancements over the Standard Drupal installation profile by enabling helpful modules, configuring default settings, and including 3rd party libraries. Bear also includes a base theme, Bear Skin, that helps get started building responsive Drupal websites faster.

farmOS is a Drupal distribution for agricultural management and record keeping. It includes modules and configuration for managing areas, plantings, animals, equipment, soil tests, sensors, and various record keeping log types.
