The Queen of bludgers

From root to branch the Royal family tree is rotten. The Queen perches above a whole gaggle of racist, warmongering, bludging, ne’er-do-well Royals. This is without even mentioning her deplorable son, Prince Charles. The whole lot of them receive public funding to the tune of £180 million a year which they use to entertain dictators, travel the world in luxury and gamble on horse races as millions of British workers are confronted with the austerity measures, wage cuts and poverty wrought by economic crisis. If there was any justice in the world, the Queen wouldn’t be having Jubilee parades and pageants in her honour this year, she would be stripped of her ill-gotten wealth and forced to live on the dole or miserable poverty pension that is the lot of ordinary Britons.

C’mon, John Howard deserves his order of merit from the one percent

Neoliberalism is part of Labor’s DNA, and has been since 1983. Gillard and co don’t need baubles from the Queen to tell them how they should rule for the one percent. They are doing it right now.

The Queen said that she would like to speak and maybe some tape over Abbott’s mouth might help. We obliged with lots and lots and lots of tape.
The Queen: turn back her boat

Helping build the Occupy movement is the best way to fight for a republic. Now that really rocks my socks and hopefully will the Queen’s boat.
The one percent’s royal parasite to tour Australia

The way for Australia to become a republic and send parasites like Queen Elizabeth to the dustbin of history is not through bourgeois referendums but is right in front of us – the Occupy movement and its extension into the workplace. It has the capacity to challenge on the streets the idea of royalty and its rule for the one percent – and to encourage and inspire the working class to organise and fight for socialism and in doing that overthrow these relics of history.
Greed, gender and jobs

For women workers around Australia Gillard and Bligh are the enemies, not allies. A boss is a boss, no matter what their gender.
